Description:

Appearance:

In her earlier years, Aleina had pale almost creamy skin with bright emerald-green eyes. Her hair had always been so dark brown as to look black, and she wore it long in her pre-teens before wearing it uncharacteristically short and boyish through her mid-teens finally allowing it to grow once more, as it has been since. Like all Hapan women she was beautiful, created so through a combination of breeding and genetics in the manner of all the generations that have gone before her. She was said to have a 'luminescence' about her that made her stand out even more from her sisters, something which was later discovered to be the externalising of her untapped Force Energies. Since her turn to the dark side of the Force, Aleina still remains staggeringly beautiful yet now that beauty is tainted with a terrible, sinister edge.

Distinctive Marks/Tattoos:

Due to her years of service to the Dark Side, Aleina's creamy skin tone has become an off-white marble grey and her already black hair seems almost darker. Most startlingly of all however, her pupils have lost their colour completely, appearing as black pits of emptiness surrounded by blood-red, as if her eyes were to weep blood at any moment. Despite these oddities she is still entrancing to behold, with a hypnotic movement and maliciousness of intent.

Languages:

Aleina is fluent in both Galactic Basic and her native language of Hapan. She is also studying the ancient Sith language, upon instruction from her master.

Equipment/Apparel:

Aleina travels light at all times, working under the assumption that the more she carries, the more she needs to concern herself with and therefore the greater a distraction from the task at hand. She is almost always seen in practical, utilitarian clothing; most often her typical black and red training outfit. Always carrying her red lightsaber, the only other common piece of equipment she has about her person is an all-weather cloak to compensate for the wide variety of envioments her Masters' missions take her.

Starship:

Aleina flies a reconstructed replica of a Sith Interceptor, identical in every way to the type of ships used by Darth Revan and Malak's forces in the Jedi Civil War. She has no emotional attachement to the ship whatsoever, considering it a useful tool and nothing more. The ship has not been given a name or unique indentifier or is customised in any way.

ROLEPLAY:

Personality:

Aleina is manipulative in the extreme and devious as well. Patient and reserved, she has all the heirs and graces of a Lady of high society and always treats others with polite courtesy, even if she considers them beneath contempt. This politeness has a cruel edge to it however, and she often keeps up the pretence even when inflicting pain on others.
Often planning many steps ahead, most things that Aleina does are part of a plan even if no such pattern exists for others to follow. Unashamedly selfish and self-serving, she desires much and expects even more, only showing loyalty to those who can best her in one way or another. To her respect must be proven, be it at the tip of a light-saber, in a diplomacy hall or in the bed of a lover.
Disturbingly calm she channels her anger and other negative emotions into a precise focussed malice, and she can strike with frightening speed with the precision of a laser-scalpel.
She hates to lose her temper, seeing it as a sign of weakness and lack of control and sees it as a personal failing on her part.

Relationships:

Aleina has trouble forming meaningful, long-term relationships due in the most part to the abuse she suffered as a child.
The physical and mental scarring took their toll and true trust is an alien concept to her. She can tolerate people, like and even love them but she never completely trusts anyone beyond herself, always waiting for when they will turn on her and betray her. Even Deimos, her master and mentor is not above such suspicion, Aleina believes he will try to do away with her when the time comes.

Although Aleina has a mother, father and four sisters (one younger and three older than her), she does not really remember them and has not seen any of them since she was three years old. Considering them part of a life that no longer exists, she does not really know if they are still even alive and has no intention of researching their current status.

Beliefs:

Aleina holds no religious beliefs to speak of, but does feel that there is a great plan in motion within the Galaxy, that it is incomprehensible and massive in its complexity but that everyone has their place and a reason for existing. To her, it is important that she become everything she can be, and she considers mastering the Dark Side part of her personal perfection. Aleina believes in herself and the Galaxy and sees everything in-between as something to be learnt, enslaved or destroyed.

Goals and Ambitions:

Aleina seeks total domination over the Dark Side of the Force and her own emotions, hoping to weed out her fears and doubts that were so completely forced upon her as a child. She seeks personal perfection and will do anything to obtain it, regardless of the material cost or loss of life.

Quotes/Motto:

" Your fear is misplaced. Your mistrust is acutely accurate, however. "

The Beginning.....

Born into a good family, Aleina was the youngest of five daughters born to Derryn & Lana Fel and was raised in the city of Ta'a Chume'Dan on Hapes. Her youngest years were priviledged due to her parents good standing in society. Her mother Lana was an Exchequer in the Ministry of Finance, whereas her father Derryn was a Colonel in the Hapan Royal Army (Ground Forces). While this led to her spending most of her time with her sisters or tutors rather than parents, she still enjoyed her parents company when she got it and respected them both, as much as a young child can.
From as soon as she was able to walk and talk she was groomed in the ways of etiquette, culture and social behaviour as her sisters were before her.
Upon her third birthday signs of Force-Sensitivity began to manifest in the young girl and the Jedi Council on Coruscant was contacted.

Destiny calls (and strikes)

Within the month an Arkanian Jedi Knight appeared in the city sent by the Council. Going by the name of Kordath Tavik, he was the first alien the young girl had come across and she was understandibly nervous.
Nevertheless, as was tradition with the Jedi Order, Aleina was given into the care of Kordath by her parents, that she might travel to Coruscant and begin training as a Jedi Youngling and develop her talents.
Boarding Tavik's ship, Aleina set off to her new life on a distant and strange world ready to try to master her gifts and use them for the good of the Galaxy. Fate however, thought differently and its fikkle hand intervened in her destiny, setting her down a path of darkness and pain.

As the two travelled through the Navoota System on the edges of the Core Worlds on route to Coruscant, their small vessel was attacked by a horde of Pirates.

Fearing for the girl's safety in case the ship was boarded, Kordath ordered her to hide in one of the ship's many smuggler compartments and told her not to come out until either he said it was safe or she could hear no sounds. Doing as she was told it wasn't long before she realised the ship had indeed been boarded and that Kordath was dealing with a group of pirates. For almost an hour she listened to the fighting, the sounds of blasters firing, screams and the sound of the jedi's weapon - the 'light saber' (or did she hear two?) whizzing through the air.
Eventually all fell silent and the young Aleina waited a while longer, making certain it was safe before venturing out.
The sight that confronted her was terrible for a young girl on her own to witness: the massacre of life, four pirates and her Jedi tutor lay slain about the main deck of the ship, with signs that others had been injured and since left. Furniture was overturned and everything was in a state of disarray, including the young girl herself.
Left on a ship drifting aimlessly through space with no hope of understanding how to pilot it, she retreated back to the safety of the smugglers compartment and sobbed herself to sleep.
Days passed, then weeks and the hellish scene began to stink and put her off what little food she could find. In her lonliness and despair she slowly lost her grip on reality and, when the food ran out two weeks into the journey she used the only food source she could find - the dead.
It would be almost a full year before the ship drifted within sensor range of one of the outposts surrounding the planet of Balmora and the traders aboard patrolling vessels found the feral and malnourished little girl inside.
Finding her agressive and nonsensical the traders were at a loss as to what to do with the girl, and with no identification on her person coupled with their rather lax moral standards, they sold the ship, the light-saber and even Aleina herself to slavers in the city of Bin Prime on Balmora.
A second hell awaited the now four year old Aleina there, five years of physcial and mental abuse as she was passed between masters, often several at a time, and made to do all kinds of unquestionable and immoral acts to satisfy their dark whims. Later forced to make her masters money through prostitution and crime, it seemed she was doomed for a short life of violence and betrayal.
Yet one night into her fifth year on Balmora the oft-defeated young girl found she could take the abuse no longer and, despite having tried to fight off her masters before and suffering beatings as a consequence, she found herself doing so again, only this time the rage behind her fear was so great it was almost mallable. She hated them all, so much. If she could she would crush their throats and stop their jeering voices, she would burst their hearts in their chests and watch them die. She prayed for it as she shouted at them, closed her eyes and roared her anger through her tears and, to her amazement when she opened her eyes her dream had become a reality: her masters laid mangled upon the ground, their throats crushed and blood collecting in the corners of their mouths.
She needed no more invitation than that, she was free.
She ran.

Seduced by The Dark Side

A year passed and Aleina learned to fend for herself among the streets of Bim Prime, always on the run and stealing to eat and stay alive. A few more uncontrolled "force-outbursts" occured during this time, each as a result of a violent attack on her person and each ending in the death of the assailant.
It was these raw outbursts of negative emotions sending ripples through the Force that caught the attention of the Dark Lord Neabel as he travelled through the Navoota system in his mobile fotress, "Omen". Descending to the planet in a shuttle, the Dark Lord and his entourage began searching for the source of the disturbance and within a week managed to close in on the young Aleina. It was Neabel himself that approached her and, as suspicious as she was of both strangers and men, she lashed out against the tall robed figure using the talents she knew so little of. Confused and scared when the man seemed unaffected, she prepared herself to flee but he instead offered her his hand and a chance to leave the planet with him and learn how to control her 'gifts'.
Skeptical but desperate, she agreed and returned with him to Omen in high orbit.

For eleven years Aleina travelled with Neabel as he raised her, teaching her not only about the Force and the powers at her disposal but also about what he considered the 'truth' of how it should be used to reach a state of perfection and manipulate the Galaxy to the whims of the user. Taking her under his wing as his Apprentice, he not only taught her the ways of the Force (specifically and primarily The Dark Side), but also went about re-educating her in correct decorum and behaviour, reminding her once more about how to be a lady. In so doing however, he taught her to control her rage and feral nature into pure concentrated malice, making it far more easy for her to manipulate and decieve others of weak will. It was during this time that her exposure and acceptance of the dark side began to effect the young girl as she reached toward adulthood; her skin began to pale and lose its colour and her eyes grew dark the more she surrendered to the Dark Side of the Force.

Over the years Darth Deimos taught her of the different applications of the Force as well as those who wielded it; she learned of the Sith and the Jedi as well as many of the smaller groups such as The Witches of Dathormir and The Sorcerers of Tund. Travelling with him across the stars she visited many planets and places of power, read from many texts and even began learning the ancient Sith Language at her Master's request. In time her powers grew, and while she showed an aptitude with a great many Force Abilities as well as the Form VIII Style of light-saber duelling, she was especially talented with the powers of Force Corrupt, Drain Life and even Force Crush (Though she dislikes using this, considering it too quick a fate for those who offended her).

A few months after her eighteenth birthday, Deimos called Aleina into a ritual of ascendance, claiming she was no longer his Apprentice and bestowed upon her the title of Darth.

Like Deimos himself, Aleina showed no real interest in serving the Sith Empire or its Emperor, though did see the importance of keeping on good terms with such a large group of Dark Force users and as such, paid lip service to their empire, claiming allegiance as and when it suited her and coincided with her goals. Despite being given total freedom Aleina remained with Neabel for another year before leaving his side and still considers him a mentor, close ally and even a father figure in some ways. Unlike the teachings of the Sith, there is no direct rivalry between Aleina and Deimos, neither wishes to kill or overthrow the other, at least not at present. With their different and varied skill-bases, both often call on each other for assistance and have allied with one another many times over the years. Aleina is still welcome aboard Omen and although she has a distain for his other Apprentices, she does not directly interfere with them.
