Years Before Jedi Order

Arowin Nyte was born the daughter of a wealthy merchant and his wife, Skylar and Raven Nyte. They lived on the outskirts of theed and every day Arowin would ride into town with her father to his vendor tent. She wasn’t allowed to wander from from the tent, for her father wanted her to learn the family business, but when she did have a chance to sneak away, she always met curious and interesting people. One day when she was 5, she met an old man sitting outside a cantina. Arowin wanted to go into the cantina, since her father had never let her, and she decided it to be a perfect time to sneak inside. She was good at sneaking around, and she figured it was going to be no problem with an old man sitting outside the door; after all she must be faster than him. But young and naïve Arowin was wrong, he jumped up so fast, casually tossed her over his shoulder, and took her to a bench across from the cantina. He sat her down and told her that a place like that is not for little girls. They started talking and the man soon realized that Arowin had more in her than the usual 5 year old. For the next four years, the old man and Arowin would always meet on the same bench and the old man would give her small tasks to complete. She thought that were all fun and games, but the old man was using them as tests to really confirm she had the force flowing through her. One night, Arowin was kidnapped from her home. Apparently, her father sold a man a faulty service droid and for payback, he took Arowin to replace the droid. No matter how much her parents offered the man, he refused just to see the pain in their eyes. It was about a week into her service when she was awoken in her quarters by no other than the old man. Dreary eyed and nervous, Arowin followed close behind the old man as he guided her off the estate to a small house not far from her own. He explained that they didn’t have a lot of time to talk, but told her that she must leave and her parents had agreed to take her place as servants. He told her that he had been a Jedi Knight and that he had been testing her for the force for the past 4 years and she must travel to Tython to be formally tested for the force. She understood what she must do and promised that when she becomes a Jedi Knight, she would come back to save her parents from the scum that holds them in debt and to rid the galaxy of other such evils.
