The Black Seraph is a heavily modified warship-class starship, designed by Janelle Fatir and currently owned by Zelkin Infinium.
Specifications
The Black Seraph is a custom-built warship-class Starship, built specifically under the exact specifications ordered by former Dark Lord of the Sith, Furia Infinium. It is designed in the shape of a comet, measuring approximately 200 meters in length. The interior is heavily modified to allow 4 persons to ride comfortably in it, and has a dual-pilot configuration cockpit. The ship traditionally has 6 rooms, 3 on either side of the corridor of the cockpit. The rooms on the left are (from north to south): Zelkin Infinium's personal quarters, a guest room and a refresher room. On the right: a small scale Sith meditation chamber, Janelle Fatir's personal quarters, and a storage room.
Zelkin's room contains a bed, personal desk and lightsaber workbench, as well as a personal footlocker and upright locker. Janelle's room contains the same, with the addition of a feminine dresser. The guest room is sparsely furnished, equipped only with a pair of medium-sized beds. The meditation room is constructed with cortosis and, more recently, with Void Prism alloy to absorb Force energy. The meditation room doubles as a training room.
The ship itself has the latest hyperdrive and thruster engines available to Imperial personnel. It comes equipped with a state-of-the-art navigational computer, as well as a precise targeting system, customized by Zelkin.
Weapons and Tactical Specifications
The Black Seraph is equipped with standard-issue twin turbolasers and a two-shot photon torpedo launcher. An added customization later added by Zelkin, it is also outfitted with a mounted heavy ballistic array that can be operated autonomously by computer or given more precise targeting via a gunner.
For covert missions that require hiding one's identity and ship signature, the ship is designed with an Over-hull Cosmetics system that can be engaged via the cockpit. When engaging this system, the ship's color and emblem can be changed on the fly, and a legal ship signature different from the Black Seraph's can be obtained instantaneously. The computer automatically registers the assumed name of the ship under the appropriate and designated channels.
As displayed during Zelkin's time in the Necropolis, the Black Seraph is able to be remotely commanded via remote gauntlet, however it is not actually piloted via remote gauntlet. Instead, the navigational system homes in on Zelkin's unique radio signal, calculates appropriate hyperspace routes and makes the flight on its own toward its owner. The personal computer also wipes its cache automatically everyday to ensure that its encryption code is not hacked into and extracted.
The weapons system is capable of predicting maneuvers two steps ahead of the target, due to the system installed specifically by Zelkin to take into consideration the possibilities of a pilot's maneuvering based on their previous actions. This system is inactive if not used in tandem with Zelkin's unique helmet, so only Zelkin himself know how to operate the system.
