About the Cardinal Syndicate
The Cardinal Syndicate is an elite task force commissioned by the two ruling Masters of the Jen'Jidai, Darth Drahl and Darth Xenith. These ruling Sith Lords commissioned this secretive and dark task force in order to handle special acquisition and disposal missions that would aid in the overall agenda and implementation of Jen'Jidai tactical planning. As such, membership into the Cardinal Syndicate is given upon invitation by the Jen'Jidai leadership.
Background and History
The history of the Cardinal Syndicate is largely steeped in lore and was at one time thought to be disbanded and extinct. Named after a notorious and mysterious task force that once operated within the deepest reaches of the Outer Rim, it was known for dispatching the most hardened and skilled individuals in the galaxy. They were most often contracted in Jedi acquistion and elimination, and were known for the proficient, merciless execution of any task put before them. It was under this intention that Drahl and Xen sought to attract talent from the far corners of the galaxy the best core of Agents, Mercenaries, Hunters, and Assassins the universe had to offer. It soon became the pinnacle of success and the mere mention of the Cardinal Syndicate sent targets into an incessant life of fear and paranoia.
In the ten years since Jen'Jidai was founded, there are a few events of note. First is that one of the first hires that Jen'Jidai made was with a bounty hunter, mercenary and assassin group known as the Cardinal Syndicate in 8 BTC. Cardinal Syndicate served as a loose confederation of warriors that adhered to a common code and had a similar work manner. This was pleasing to the Sith Lords because they were predictable. I would also add that the Cardinal Syndicate was relied on heavily in situations that required more 'precision' than what Sith soldiers could provide.
In 8 BTC, Quygo made an appearance and begin killing Sith students. Darth Drahl ordered Cardinal Syndicate to destroy Quygo. The battle was long and bloody where in the end, Quygo was defeated, but at the cost of 90% of Cardinal Syndicate's number. The remains of Quygo could not be found following his defeat, so it is still a mystery as to what happened to him. Regardless, Quygo has not killed anyone since, though he is rumored to 'haunt' Jen'Jidai since his defeat eight years ago.
The Speciality Elite Unit - Clan Blood Shadow
The elite warriors of Jen'Jidai were diminished in number greatly following the encounter with Quygo, but Jen'Jidai did not have an immediate solution for replenishing that manpower need. In 6 BTC, it seems that the solution presented itself in the form of an infamous Mandalorian clan, known as Blood Shadow. Fighting valiantly in the Mandalorian wars, Clan Blood Shadow became known as "Jedi Killers." Their history is filled with conflict, especially between them and the Republic. Allthough the Clan was defeated by the Jedi, their resolve never failed and they have harbored a deep-seated hatred for the Jedi ever since. Convinced of Jen'Jidai's merit and unwavering dedication to their goal of destroying the Republic and the Jedi, they sought some form of alliance. To prove their worth, Clan Blood Shadow passed a near-suicidal test that could have wiped them all out. After this, Jen'Jidai contracted the entire clan to work for them on a semi-permanent basis.
During the commissioning process, a very significant pact was made between Clan Blood Shadow and the Jen'Jidai. This not only secured the structure and discipline of the Cardinal Syndicate, it bolstered its ranks into the most proficient and renowned body of contractors the galaxy has ever known.
Organization
Outside of Jen'Jidai, the Syndicate has no supreme ruler. The various cultures, classes, and individuals which make up the group stay true to their personal and corporate convictions, no matter what they might be. It is under this premise that the Jen'Jidai has found the Cardinal Syndicate to be the biggest testament of its governing code. The bonds are broken, for once the bonds of restriction are broken you are truly free. It is yours to follow, you must simply embrace it. Your bonds have been broken, you are now ready. The Cardinal Syndicate holds in highest regard the cardinal rule of Jen'Jidai. You owe nothing to anyone but yourself. For the moment we begin to lose track of our own journey toward destiny, is the moment we lose sight of ourselves forever.
Recruitment and Membership
Many additions have been made to the Cardinal Syndicate since its commissioning. It currently consists of numerous races, species and cultures. All are highly trained professionals representing the best trained warriors and tacticians their cultures have to offer. Many of its members remain shrouded in mystery testifying to the freedom and individual nature of its participants.
Membership Requirements
Before consideration is given, prospective members must meet the following requirements:
1. You must have received full membership status within Jen'Jidai.
2. You must have at least 2 months of guild membership.
3. You must be a non-force user.
4. You must be active with your particpation in all guild events and forums.
5. You must be knowledgeable of your class structure and mechanics.

The impression of exclusivity and invitation only is an in-character, role-play convention. Any player who thinks their character has the chops and IC appropriateness for this group has simply to inquire about membership of any officer. As a basic, involate rule, Jen'Jidai and Legend Gaming does not tolerate closed cliques or OOC exclusive groups without our Guild.
