About Clan Blood Shadow

Mandalorians are defined as Mandalorian, first, and by their Clan, second. The numerous Mandalorian Clans take many different shapes with many different defining characteristics. Clan Blood Shadow is an old tribe among the Mandalorians renowned for their skill at combating Jedi. Despite their ruthless reputation, they are easily one of the most traditional Mandalorian clans among their people. Clan Blood Shadow's current Alor and Elder is a human known as Mithias Prudii.
Background
Clan Blood Shadow played a major role in the Mandalorian Wars where they fought Jedi on a consistent basis and were feared hunters during the Jedi Purge. It was during these years that the Clan's reputation was solidified as "Jedi Killers". But despite their clan's success on the battlefield, it was not enough to win the war. The Jedi known as Revan used a shadow mass generator and instantly destroyed the bulk of the Mandalorian fleet. Revan hunted down and killed Mandalore the Ultimate. To add insult to injury, Revan hid the Mandalore's mask so as to prevent a new leader from rising. The Mandalorians were then soundly defeated by the Jedi. Clan Blood Shadow lost a lot of their brothers to the brutal attack and they have harbored a deep-seated hatred for Jedi ever since.
Without a reigning Mandalore and the mask missing, it affected the Mandalorians profoundly. So brutal was this blow to the Mandalorians that many of the clans lost their way and become simple mercenaries, bounty hunters and assassins. Clan Blood Shadow was appalled at the blatant disregard for centuries of tradition and culture. They vowed that they would never succumb to being a "common warrior". They were Mandalorians: mind, body and soul. It was truly a dark time for all of their people...
Canderous Ordo, a famed Mandalorian, obtained the Mandalore mask and reunited the Mandalorian clans on Dxun, the largest moon of Onderon. Clan Blood Shadow was among the first Mandalorians to answer the new Mandalore's call. It was an exciting time for them as hope for a united people came to be.
Clan Blood Shadow vowed that they would never allow such an atrocity to happen to their people ever again. The Jedi nearly extinguished the Mandalorian way of life by taking the life of their Mandalore and scattering his ancient mask with the intent of it never reuniting them. In their eyes, it was a blatant act of genocide and it would never be forgiven. Since then, the Blood Shadows have been a persistent thorn in the Jedi's side, taking any and every contract they could get their hands on to cause grief for the Jedi.
Their activities the last few decades have not been tracked with great accuracy. Many believe they intentionally went "off the grid" so to speak.
The Clan Joins Jen'Jidai
At approximately 10 BTC, it is known that Darth Drahl and Darth Xen, Sith Lords of Jen'Jidai, approached Clan Blood Shadow and made them the offer of a lifetime. With the Sith gearing up for war against the Republic, and subsequently the Jedi, Jen'Jidai wished to bolster their ranks with elite warriors to aid in their fight against the Jedi specifically. There was simply no better choice than Clan Blood Shadow. With a lucrative contract, Elder and Alor Mithias Prudii brokered the deal with Jen'Jidai. It was initially confusing for Jen'Jidai due to the fact that no one in Clan Blood Shadow wore any semblance of rank insignia. Jen'Jidai contracted the entire clan of Blood Shadows for an ongoing contract to serve as elite warriors, assassins, bounty hunters, "Jedi killers" and aid in the training of their regular army. With the amount of credits offered and the opportunity to kill Jedi, the choice was an easy one.
Clan Blood Shadow agreed to most every stipulation of the contract including overall command by the Sith Lords, Darth Xen and Darth Drahl and residing primarily on Aeten II. Some of the stipulations that Clan Blood Shadow made were that they would be allowed to answer the call of Mandalore should the call rise, they would be able to address family needs and they would be able to address clan emergencies. Darth Xen and Darth Drahl knew the Mandalorians were not Sith and never expected them to be, but they did expect obedience and results--that was made abundantly clear for the requested concessions. The deal was sealed and has been honored on both sides for nine years. It continues to be a desirable arrangement to both parties to this day.
A Note on Side Missions
A note from the Elder of the Clan to all would heed the call: "Clan Blood Shadow is contracted with Jen'Jidai. They pay our salaries, our housing and food, our tab at the Cantina, the energy packs in our blaster, and the repairs for our ships. When our services are not required by our Jen'Jidai employers, Clan Blood Shadow members are free to take contracts elsewhere as long as their actions do not benefit the Republic or the Jedi, nor can they be detrimental to Jen'Jidai. Should Jen'Jidai issue a battle cry, Clan Blood Shadow must answer that call. The only event that takes precedent over Jen'Jidai's call is the call of their Mand'alor."

Canons of Honor
Ancient texts that dictate the way that Mandalorians achieve honor and glory on the battlefield. Among those ways are loyalty to one's clan, involving oneself in battles and advancing individual combat prowess.
Other Doctrine
Clan Blood Shadow is an honorable lot and follow the Bounty Hunter's Creed, unless it conflicts with Jen'Jidai directives or jeopardizes the clan in some way.

Special Operations
Clan Blood Shadow are famous for their elite commando training. Excelling in all aspects of special warfare including but not limited to infiltration, reconnaissance, insertion, assassination, counter-terrorism, insurrection, unconventional warfare and direct action. Their close quarters combat is an example for all warriors to follow. On the flipside, they are not known to produce outstanding pilots. So much time is focused on their commando training, their starship piloting training suffers as a result.
"Jedi Killers"
When a member of Clan Blood Shadow trains, he or she trains with defeating a Jedi in mind. They are taught from the very beginning about how formidable Jedi are as enemies. They are also taught their own clan regiment on how to defeat Jedi, from effective tactics to employ to resisting their mind control to overcoming their prowess with the lightsaber. Clan Blood Shadow has an impressive success rate against one of the most deadly opponents in the galaxy...
Beskar Armor
When you hunt the most dangerous prey in the galaxy, you have to be equipped to deal with them. Clan Blood Shadow takes pride in the fact that every member of the Clan possesses armor made of their rare Beskar (Mandalorian Iron). In fact, it is what every clan member saves their credits for in lieu of buying anything else. Everything else is secondary. With Beskar armor being highly resistant to lightsaber attacks, it is simply a no-brainer where their hard earned credits should be spent.
Structure
Sith Admiral
The Admirals are the Leaders of the Clan, their orders are to be obeyed without hesitation. The interact with the leaders of Jen'Jidai.
Sith Captain
Reporting to the Admirals, Captains deal with the Infantry in order carry out orders given.
Sith Infantry
All new recruits are considered Infantry, and as such are assigned their tasks or groups when active missions are being engaged in.
