Quotes/Mottos
"From hate's heart, I stab at you."
Appearance
Darth Drador is a young man, 25 years of age. He stands 1.82 meters tall, and weighs in at 73 kilograms. He keeps his hair short, due to the effects of the force lightning constantly raging through his body. As a result of such, his hair perpetually stands on end, and he has given to spiking it upward, both to suit his aesthetic and to promote a fearsome image. The lightning is most-visable in his eyes, where the placid grays are often interrupted by arcs of deep purple energy. Drador's mouth is twisted into something between a snarl and a smirk. He wears a black leather Sith military uniform, complete with gloves and high boots, underneath a long, black leather coat, in mockery of the traditional garb of the Jedi. Crossed belts hold his paired saber handles, one on each side. He also owns a suit of Sith armor, but only wears it on ceremonial occasions or when commanded by his master. Drador would be considered an attractive man, but only a true massochist or a true fool would ever consider so much as looking at him for a prolonged period of time.
History
Although born on the Sith world of Korriban, Darth Drador comes from Coruscant's Diev family - and a long line of Sith, his grandfather having been one of the fallen Jedi who fought alongside Darths Revan and Malak in the war. This same grandfather had believed that the Jedi were superior to normal beings, and that they should arbitrate supreme in the galaxy - beliefs that were passed down through his family line. Drador, then called Akre, and his twin brother, Kira, were trained from early childhood as Sith warriors, receiving their training from the ruthless and powerful Darth Vorax.
In a rare exception, their master was allowed to take them both on as apprentices simultaneously, as it was believed that they would fight more efficiently together than apart. Vorax proved a harsh teacher, even by Sith standards, and he focused the boys' training on the base, destructive applications of the force, transforming them into perfect weapons. He eschewed training them as scholars of Sith lore, which he regarded as a pursuit for the aged masters of the order. Although they had been intended to work together as a single force, Vorax defied the Sith council's decision and informed his students that their final test before becoming warriors would be to fight one another, to the death.
They fought, evenly matched, for hours, both sustaining minor wounds and lightsaber cuts without either being able to deliver a solid blow. Finally, Akre made a mistake, and Kira pressed the advantage, knocking the lightsaber from his brother's hand. However, Kira was unable to kill his brother, and lowered his guard. At that moment, Akre called upon the Dark Side and threw Kira back with all his strength and hatred. He quickly recovered his saber and raised it to finish off his brother, when Kira's own anguish at his brother's betrayal and apparent blind hatred of him caused him to snap. He surged forward in a sudden burst of speed, digging his fingers into his brother's face and letting loose with an incredible burst of Dark Lightning.
With the Dark Lightning continually coursing on a feedback loop through his body, Akre was incapacitated, but not dead. Still, Kira could not finish off his brother. He left the arena, and the Sith, departing for parts unknown. Eventually, Akre was able to move despite the constant excruciating pain of the lightning in his body, recovered his brother's saber (identical to his own), and returned, alone, to Darth Vorax. The Sith Master renamed his apprentice Darth Drador, and the Sith council elevated him to the rank of Sith Marauder.
Although he was born offworld, Darth Drador is technically a native of Coruscant, and he currently resides at the Diev family estate, doing the business of the Sith as directed by the council of Dark Masters, and fulfilling his own ends on the side.
Goals and Ambitions
Darth Drador openly dispises his master, the Dark Lord Darth Vorax. He covets Vorax's power, as well as his seat on the Sith Council. However, he is aware of the prejudice facing those designated as Marauders within the Sith Order, and does not currently see an opening with which he can gain such power for himself. Killing Vorax, however, still remains a priority to him, as his hatred for the Hutt Sith runs to the point of all-consuming vendetta.
To that point and purpose, he is secretly training an apprentice of his own, without the approval of Vorax or the Council. Her name is Leianna Denav, a bounty hunter he met on Coruscant, who had been a failed student of the Jedi Order in her youth.
Some day, Drador would like to find his missing brother, Kira, and turn him to the Dark Side - or destroy him - if he yet lives.
Skills/Attributes
Weapons: Drador wields two crimson-bladed lightsabers. They are completely identical, although one was made by him, and the other was crafted by his brother, Kira. They are so well-matched that not even he can tell the difference. He recently modified the sabers using crystals given to him by Zelkin Infinium. Drador has been trained in virtually every form of lightsaber combat, though he prefers an aggressive Jar'Kai variant of Juyo. He does not hesitate to use others as weapons (or shields) when it would be advantageous to do so.
Clothes/Armor: Drador most often wears a Sith Military uniform with a long leather trenchcoat over it. However, he has been known to don a suit of Sith armor for formal occasions. The last time he wore the armor was during the Sith's siege of Coruscant.
Ships/Vehicles: Drador flies a modified Sith Interceptor known as the Star Reaver. It is quite a bit larger than a standard Sith Interceptor, and is capable of comfortably holding two passengers and a variety of equipment. Virtually all the systems have been upgraded over time, and the ship also features a utility droid-based astronavigation system for long journeys. Drador's estate also allows him access to the Diev family's shuttle (a small luxury-class), and their aircar for use on Coruscant. Recently, Drador was given a custom-built Centurion-class vessel by Zelkin. He decided to name it the Dark Ambition.
Force Powers: Although not trained in many of the Sith ways by his master, Drador has since taken it upon himself to become educated in the more subversive ways of his people. Still, he is far more comfortable using his lightsabers or the Force for sheer, unbridled destruction. His Dark Lightning, in particular, is formidable - no doubt a side effect of the lightning that continually rages through his own body. Drador also possesses the self-trained ability of Post-Cognition - the ability to gather an impression of past events from a location or object. Because of this ability, Darth Vorax has employed Drador as a detective, although Vorax himself refuses to admit his once-apprentice's mastery of anything besides combat-oriented Sith abilities. He is able to influence all manner of electronic equipment, also due to his affinity for electromagnetic fields. Recently, he has displayed the ability to extend this control to cover an entire battlefield.
