Quotes/Mottos
"Once we arrive we'll do some snooping around and see what we can find out. No shooting unless they piss you off. Or they say something bad about the clans. Or one of us needs to kill something" E'han talking to fellow mandalorian Mirshko about their infiltration to Corellia.
"Blood is thicker than any training you can ever experience brother. It'll be alright. And if he's in deep then we'll just have to dig him out." E'han discussing Mirshko's wayward son Nau'ur.
Appearance
Born on Concord Dawn E'han has an overly rough appearance about himself. His hair is dirty blond and kept short in a rough military cut. His armor is colored greyish blue with dark charcoal bordering. He has an assortment of weapons such as a pair of sleek heavy blaster pistols and usualy keeps various grenades explosives and medpacks on his person.
Early History
E'han never knew his birth parents. Instead he was adopted by a twi'lek mandalorian when the warrior had found the young human lost and alone at a spaceport. From then on E'han was raised as a traditional mando in almost every sense. He began training at age six and then joined with a squad when he hit 14. Joining a mercenary squad off Carida E'han really began to see that galaxy and learn from his experiences and his encounters. He and the squad worked various missions throughout the galaxy most noteably during actions such as the third Battle of Brentall and the Defense of Ord Tantell.
Unfortunately a hazard amongst working with such dangerous individuals is that you often get the most dangerous missions and a decrease in life expectancy was inevitable. Eventually the squad of 12 was wittled down in numbers till only 8 members remained to operate and although to the mandalorians a glourious death in battle was the best death E'han found it hard to simply forget about his comrades with whom he had trained and bled with from his teenage years and the experience honed him into a bit of a grim individual at times.
E'han never forgot his roots however and would frequently come to Ryloth to visit his twi'lek parents and give what credits he could spare to help the clan and it's owned businesses. But at the end of every visit good-byes were exchanged and the mandalorian once more set out to the squad and returned to the mercenary life.
By age 19 the squad was reaping the benifits of a very well trained and very deadly mercenary group. Job offers were plentiful from a myriad of clients including hutt cartels, criminal syndicates and the Sith Empire and Republic alike though E'han and the squad rarely took low paying work from the latter two. The mandalorian group for the most part enjoyed the benefits of neutrality and knew that it was every other mandalorian merc's right to fight for the highest bidder and so it mainly boiled down to a question of credits and not morality as far as E'han and the others were concerned.
Korriban and Aftermath
Eventually while on a mission at Coruscant E'han and the rest of the mando squad were captured and it became clear that their mission was in fact a ambush set up by the sith who were under specific orders from the rodian scientist Reelo Miltulko. The squad was captured and transported to Korriban wehre they were tortured by their sith capturers in an effort to break the will of the hardened warriors in order to help turn them into instructors for a generation of super soldiers that had been created by Miltulko and his Cindrol'nomt Initiative. Mesh'la Runi, the wife of one of the squad members and her fellow mercenary Ajrick Dalmarhk launched a rescue attempt before the ith could succeed and E'han and about 3 of the other mandos liberated from their tormentors. Unfortunately enough however Mesh'la's husband was not amongst those who survived the breakout attempt.
After the rescue however E'han and the surviving mandos joined the mercenary unit and soon enough the mandalorian settled into familiar straits although the new merceanry squad still had a ways to go Jae proved to be a capable leader who held the group strong even when times were tough including instances where Hey'ou the last member of E'han's original squad died at the hangs of the bounty hunter Korr who would later in turn join the mercs for a time as a member. E'han rarely spoke of the decision to allow the bounty hunter in and most close to him belive that he knew the life of a mercenary is hardly ordinary and today's enemies could become tommorow's friends. Work with the Tarentatek Tactical Corporaion (as the merc group would later be called) took E'han from Jabiim to Telerath to Corellia to Nar Shadda.
Infinium Conflict
Pivotal amongst the jobs that the mercs encountered was when they were hired by none other then Janele Fatir to be a special taskforce in charge of destroying Director Reelo Miltulko and his CI operatives who were acting as support for Zelkin Inifinium during the events that would be known as the Inifinium Crisis. During the battle the mercs were instrumental in destroying the CI's ability to deploy their commando groups to various critical strike points that would have wounded Zelkin's enemies. Eventually in a climatic duel aboard Miltulko's flagship E'han and the others confronted the scientist and engaged him and his Templar agents.
The battle was swift and bloody but in the end Mesh'la Runi dealt a killing blow to the rodian director and the mercs stood victorious over a long dreaded enemy of theirs. Leaving the rest of the battle to the respective sides the mercs took their credits and headed out for better sights and left the Crisis to unwind itself.
Personality and Beliefs
E'han enjoyed keeping a relatively calm attitude and demanor unless he found out that a person had plans or motives to injure or kill his friends. When he lost his last squad member during some work with his newest crew he became more reserved more than ever keeping a very nonchalent attitude about himself. Honor means a lot to him and when his fellow Mandalorian Mirshko went out on a personal quest to locate his son Nau who had been claimed years earlier by the Cindrol'nomt Initiative E'han delcared to his friend that he would help him in his time of need and the two mandalorian set out from the mercenary group for a time to do what they could to find Mirshko's son.
When it came to E'han's attention that the early Mandalore during the Great Galactic War was a sith pawn E'han's faith in the warrior culture was definitely put to the test. While he belived that it was his duty to have heed the call of Mandalore but E'han held off mainly because he was still working with the mercenary squad. After the puppet was slain and the new Mandalore took his place E'han considered joining the new leader's cause but was convinced to hold off by his squad members.
Goals and Ambitions
Sooner than later E'han wishes to return to Mandalore's main crusader force. While the defeat of their blockade cost the mandalorians a large number of hsips E'han knows that such a strike could never truly defeat the warrior race but it's hard to see victory in the light of a defeat from the hated jedi. Besides that he knew that competent, well trained and equally deadly mandalorians such as himself would find a good place amongst the mandalorians when they began once their conquest renewed and when the new mandalore emerged during the Cold War E'han recorded various entries in his personal log about his desire to rejoin the main force if this new mandalore prooved himself capable.
Relationships
E'han has known Mesh'la Runi for close to a year now. He considers her one of his closer friends amongst the mercenaries he associates with.
He knows Ajrick Dalmarhk to be a good blaster to have beside you and the fellow mandalorian Mink Rosten has proven to an ally he's appreciated.
Skills/Attributes
E'han is a mandalorian veteran warrior. He's well versed in many weapons of war as well as various battlefield tactics. A staunch believer in the individuality of a warrior (following in the tracks of Rohlan Dyre.) Varid has tried his best to garner a reputation as a expert marksman with little remorse for his enemies. Besides ranged weapons skills E'han has been known to have sharp skills in brutal close quarters combat often employing the use of a gauntlet mounted vibro-blades to deliver swift and deadly sneak attacks to surprised enemies.
Apperances in Fiction
OOC
The first picture on the left margin was provided by the very talented Mercy from SWAG.com. The other two were designed and created by yours truly. The main ideal I worked with in designing E'han initially was a return to the mandalorian crusader and not the uniformed and highly standardized Neo Crusaders that came apart from the KOTOR games.
