The Fate Shatter is a superweapon, designed and operated by Zelkin Infinium.
Specifications
The Fate Shatter is a magnified version of a Basilisk War Droid, designed into a ship. It is approximately 1500 m long, and is as large- if not larger- than most Capital-class battleships. Instead of the typical four legs equipped on a Basilisk droid, the Fate Shatter has six legs created to act as stabilizers for the Void Cannon. The ship itself is not equipped with any conventional wartime weaponry, such as turbolasers, shields or missiles, leaving it completely defenseless to all types of weaponry. It is constructed with a unique Cortosis alloy, formed by melting Cortosis ore, Durasteel ore and Void Prism crystalization, which nullifies the residual Force energy that emanates from the Void Engine during the extraction process.
The ship itself can carry five thousand, five hundred soldiers. The operators present within the ship are mainly used to navigate the ship through space, carrying typical operators for the engine, bridge and communications. In addition, of those operators, five hundred are specifically assigned to take care of the Void Engine, which is the heart of the Fate Shatter's power.
The ship itself has several levels. The bottom-most level is the hangar bay and engineering access, where fighters can freely dock and transport ships can transport their goods. This hangar bay is split into two parts- one for the smaller fighters and the adjacent connected one for transports. Above that is the barracks level for soldiers, which contains a mess hall and armory. Above the barracks level is the medical level for the injured, and above that is the prison level. Above the prison level is the officer's level, where commissioned officers are given rooms. Connecting directly to the officer level and the hangar level is the bridge, where the Force Master system is also set. From the bridge, one could enter Kirali's private quarters and training/meditation room from the east. To the west is Zelkin Infinium's private quarters via turbolift, which leads into the Fate Shatter's observation deck; a large window upon which Zelkin can view the emptiness of space or an ongoing battle. The only way into the observation deck is through Zelkin's quarters or through engineering.
Void Engine and Void Cannon
The Void Engine is the heart of the Fate Shatter. It directly powers the massive Void Cannon and is connected directly to the Force Master system. It is constructed by aligning the gigantic Void Prisms in an array of six, with a seventh at the center, surrounded by a modified version of the Force Harvester originally constructed by Exar Kun. The Fate Shatter itself is just a giant housing for the Void Engine, which itself is capable of absorbing the pure energy of the Wound in the Force and transmuting it into primal Force power. Some of that energy is funneled into the Force Master system, powering it. However, most of that energy is contained within the Void Engine itself until it can no longer "eat" away at a Wound of the Force. In order to continue to feed upon a wound, the energy must be expelled, and that is by means of the Void Cannon.
When the head of the Fate Shatter opens, it exposes the Void Cannon. The Fate Shatter itself rises up in an upright position, its legs pulling back as though bracing itself for a large impact. Then, when the Force Master engages the Void Cannon, it expels all the excess Force power within the Engine into a massive beam of pure power. Its destructive effects have thus far been unrecorded, as the Void Cannon has yet to be tested in actual battle.
Force Master System
The Fate Shatter is not equipped with conventional weaponry or shields, so is thus vulnerable to attack. However, to circumvent that drawback, Zelkin designed a system powered entirely by the Force. This Force Master system allows a Force Adept to take a large stage on the bridge and place themselves within the system, which brings up a holographic display of the front, flanks and back of the Fate Shatter. Through this system, the Force Adept is able to engage ships through an intensely magnified use of the Force, in addition to being able to create an impenetrable barrier of Force energy that no weapon can penetrate.
This Force Master system has its limits, however. Due to the magnification of the Force from the system, any Force powers used through the system is twice as draining as it regularly would be on the Force Adept, so defense of the Fate Shatter is dependent on the Adept's will and mental stamina- once the Adept is tired, the system cannot be used, as it is dependent on the Adept who operates the system. In addition, one cannot use contact dependent, organic dependent or specifically targeted Force powers (such as the Droid-class powers, Force Lightning or the Force Nightmare), so the Adept is limited only to their knowledge of telekinetic and mind-altering powers (such as Force Push, Force Crush or Fear).
