Biography

Early Life

Born in the cloning vats of Khomm Jezebel 69 was soon singled out as an anomaly due to her Force-sensitive nature. In a culture which revered conformity to an almost religious degree this deviation Jezebel soon found herself ostracised by her peers. Unable to make friends or even form any kind of personal relationship with those around her as her powers grew Jezebel soon became acquainted with the criminal underworld, who saw her abilities as valuable commodities.

While still barely old enough enter to school Jezebel was complicit in a number of major crimes, mainly robberies involving unusual entry methods or manipulation of the guards. While she may not have realised it these experiences would become invaluable in later life, training her in the nuances of infiltration and subversion.

It was at this point her activities came to the attention of the Jedi Order and stepping in they offered her a place at the Academy. As at the time young Jezebel was facing a lengthy prison sentence for her involvement in a large-scale bank raid with her family having disowned her, purging her records and history in an attempt to distance themselves from her, she jumped at the opportunity. She soon found herself on Coruscant, being trained in the ways of the Force.

Jedi Knight

During the Sacking of Coruscant Jezebel was one of a number of Padawans urgently promoted to Knights in order to be placed on the frontlines. Many of the Masters opposed this move, arguing that her base emotions were still far too raw for her to focus the Force in the proper manner, and some even to go as far as whisper of Dark Side influences acting within her.

Despite these fears Jezebel performed her duties well enough to be noticed by her superiors. While in no way the greatest Jedi to ever stand before an opponent she certainly had the promise to become a noteworthy individual within their ranks. At the same time she came to the attention of a splinter group within the Republic known simply as Clan 31. Feeling the chaff of the Jedi Council's strict rules and restraints Jezebel welcomed the more relaxed command structure of the Clan and quickly transferred her allegiance to the organisation.

Given free rein within the Clan Jezebel swiftly carved out a name for herself, taking on infiltration and sabotage missions in order to weaken the Clan's rivals as well as striking directly against the Sith. Proving her worth to the leadership she was soon assigned to the elite sect known as The Hand. Given access to superior equipment and resources she had the Clan's engineers craft a custom blaster in celebration, one which could be used effectively in a number of tactical circumstances.

Using her Force powers Jezebel became aware of a power struggle within the ranks of the Clan, with the leader of The Hand, a droid known as HK-53, planning a coup against the main leadership, believing he would make a better commander than Galen Soran. Approaching Galen, Jezebel swore her allegiance to him, cementing their relationship in order to prove her loyalty. In response Galen tasked her with gathering evidence of the coup as well as taking whatever action required to quietly and decisively end the threat, without riling HK-53's supporters.

The following night Jezebel broke into the droid's quarters inside the Clan's Tatooine base, managing to infiltrate her way through numerous high security safeguards before managing to interface directly with the droid's redundant memory storage, housed within a dedicated mainframe. Downloading detailed files outlining HK-53's exact plans and strategies she then sabotaged his recharge terminal to introduce a static feedback to his neural core. Taking the opportunity she then returned to the mainframe, extracting vast amounts of information on possible targets of opportunity, rivals' current strengths and weaknesses and even the other members of the Clan.

Over the next few days HK-53 became increasingly erratic, giving out contradictory orders and making tactical mistakes in his planning which, had they not been detected and corrected by Galen, would've led to considerable losses to the Clan. Declaring that the droid was irreversably damage Galen stripped him of his rank and had him scrapped, making sure to personally remove his main processor for security reasons. To this day it can be seen in his office, a trophy to his successful defense against the coup.

In recognition for her skill, and her service to Galen, Jezebel was named the new head of The Hand. At first this move caused friction within the sect as many others resented the newcomer's promotion ahead of more senior operatives, some even citing her personal relationship with Galen as the only reason for her advancement. This soon change however as Jezebel's keen tactical mind led to a period of unprecedented success against the Clan's rivals, fueled by the very information she'd obtained from her predecessor.

Personality

A brash and bold character, Jezebel has been described as great fun by some and as obnoxious by others. Tending to use brutal and direct methods as her first, last and only choice she relies more on shock and awe tactics to achieve her goals, but isn't above retreating when the odds go against her.

Combat

Style

Jezebel's original style of combat was a mismatched mixture of styles she'd observed in other Jedi. When she finally received formal training she excelled at the Jar'Kai form, although her mongrel style can still be seen in her choice of unusual movement combinations which often leaves her opponents wrong-footed.

Powers

Due to her neutral nature Jezebel uses both Light and Dark side Force powers, but none at their full effectiveness. Her most favoured abilities are mental attacks, including planting commands and manipulating memories, as well as telekinetics. Although she has been seen to use Force lightning on occasion she tends not to do so often as it leaves her drained and vulnerable after prolonged use.

• Art of the Small; Limited, shrinking her presence in the Force to avoid detection.
• Force Barrier; Limited, a protective shield thrown around herself to act as a defense.
• Breath Control; Mastered, able to survive without air for days.
• Force Cloak; Proficient, capable of photokinetically bending light around herself, rendering her invisible to others, including those normally immune to Force-based illusions.
• Comprehend Speech; Proficient, able to understand most races' languages upon first contact but unable to speak it herself.
• Dopplegänger; Limited, projecting illusions of herself to act as a diversion or distraction but unable to interact with her environment with the duplicate.
• Force Deflection; Proficient, deflect most attacks without the use of a lightsaber. Unable to protect against other Force powers though.
• Force Flash; Mastered, disabling security equipment, stunning droids, affecting computer systems and wiping recordings from a distance.
• Force Lightning; Limited, throwing weak arcs of electricity over short distances. Mostly used to stun biological targets, rendering them unconscious.
• Force Listening; Mastered, able to listen to beings talking from a distance of several miles through the Force.

Weapons

Dual Lightsabers

Favouring a faster style of combat Jezebel uses the double bladed Jar'Kai form, utilising the unusual combination of a curved-hilt main blade and a guard shoto, or lightsaber tonfa, as her secondary weapon. The level of skill needed to successfully wield these weapons have meant that Jezebel has concentrated far more time to the martial side of her training than the metaphysical, but the rarity of the combination also makes her a dangerous opponent in a duel.

Custom Blaster

Handcrafted and unique Jezebel's blaster has multiple power cell attachments which can be used either in parallel or series allowing the weapon to emit a variable charge blast ranging from a light stun burst upto a vapourising disruptor pulse. While such weapons are viewed as being illegal in most civilised systems regular security sweeps have difficulty in identifying the blaster as a disruptor, usually classifying it as a stunner instead, something Jezebel has taken advantage of on numerous occasions.

SoroSuub X-15 Sniper Rifle

Sometimes a certain amount of discretion is required when taking on opponents and a times like this Jezebel falls back on her trusty X-15. While X-15s are freely available on a number of worlds, marketed under the name the Riflette, Jezebel's rifle has been adapted for her uses. With a slightly shorter barrel than is usual, a collapsable stock and a removable scope its easier to stow, and to hide, than most rifles, sacrificing power for stealth.

Droids

T1 Utility Droid

T1-U16 is a standard issue astromech droid Jezebel relies on to operate the systems aboard her ship, the Nga'chuqa. With no emotional attachment to the piece of equipment Jezebel has the droid's memory purged frequently to avoid it developing the programming irregularities which some see as personality quirks. Due to this purging 16 has developed no additional abilities above those programmed in.

K-X12 probe droid

While T1-U16 rarely leaves the Nga'chuqa K42-TX is a common companion for Jezebel 69 whenever she's investigating new territory or tracking a target. Its advanced sensor package, repulsorlift motive system and heavy blaster make it a versatile droid in a variety of environments and situations while it's reconfigured grasper arms allow it to interface with computer systems to extract sensitive information and control nearby security systems. As with T1-U16 Jezebel 69 holds no emotional attachment to K42 and has no qualms in ordering it into dangerous situations in order to protect her own safety, only baulking at the cost of repairs once the danger has passed.

HK-50 series assassin droids

Inherited from her predecessor HK-53 Jezebel 69 has a number of HK-50 assassin droids under her command. These droids have been stripped of their higher level reasoning changing them into nothing more than blunt instruments blindly following the commands given to them by Jezebel.

Ships

Nga'chuqa

Originally designed as a long-range scout during the Mandalorian War it wasn't until a group of enterprising smugglers obtained the prototype designs that the Nga'chuqa was finally built. Designed to be difficult to detect and presenting an unusually small profile for a vessel of its class the Nga'chuqa excels at infiltration and rapid hit-and-run attacks, even against larger, more powerful vessels. It weakness is the lack of heavy weaponry and when hit-and-run tactics don't work the ship has often taken heavy damage before being able to disengage, especially when caught in a gravity well and unable to jump to hyperspace.
