Appearance

Kai's skin is a blend of green and yellow. Like all Nautolans his head tentacles contain highly sensitive olfactory receptors that allow him to detect pheromonal expressions of emotion and other changes in body chemistry .

Equipment: wields a green lightsaber that contains two crystals employing a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse that allowes the blade to operate underwater.

Personality: Kai has a laid-back and accepting outlook on life, He takes his duties with enthusiasm, often sporting a wide. With a well-developed sense of humility.

Beliefs: Kai believes in the light side of the force and relies on it more than combat, along with his skills in negotiation he often goes on diplomatic missions.

History:

Back story: Born on the watery world of Glee Anselm, in the Sabilon region to Rexs and Eymma Xaris. Kai was found at a very young age by a Twi'lek Jedi Master named Sharia Akuna who took him to Coruscant to begin his training as a Jedi, where he excelled at using the force in all different ways depending on the situation at hand, from persuasion, to a variety of attacks and defences. While in lightsaber combat Kai became a practitioner in Form VI: Niman but preferred to rely on negotiation. At the age of thirteen Kai was chosen by Mon Calamari Jedi Enath Mako to become his padawan. The two went on many diplomatic missions and only engaged in combat when the two thought it was necessary to complete their objective.

When the time came for Kai to face the trials, he had no idea what challenge the council would put before him. His trials was to travel to his homeworld of Glee Anselm to stop an attack on his home city by the Anselmi. When Kai got to the planet he found it relativity easy to sneak into the city, He stuck to the back streets hoping not to be seen. Reaching the city hall Kai managed to preform a mind trick on the Anselmi clan leader and got him to sign a peace treaty, he had know succeeded in freeing his people, but later discovered that his parents were killed and tortured in the take over. Back on Coruscant the Council had noted his action on Glee Anselm and his emotional distress from the death of his parents, through a short debate between council members they decided that Kai's power in the force, faith in democracy and service to the Republic was proven and was worth recognition giving him the rank of Jedi Knight.

During the sacking of Coruscant Kai was in the meditation chamber with a group of other Jedi, When learning of the attack Kai made is way through many of the destroyed hallways, but while trying do defend an attack he was slashed across the upper arm creating a small flesh wound, realising is lightsaber skills were not good enough, Kai created a force bomb around his position, hitting the Sith around him. This attack weakened him and made him vulnerable for a time, but it also allowed him to reach the Jedi archives and retreat through a secret passage. Kai stayed in the lower levels of Coruscant for awhile, until he heard of the Jedi relocating to Tython and joined them in the journey to the Lush planet.
