Appearance:
The type of Jedi apparel Kazjin wore was the Historian Robe that were based on Ansatan design, displaying Ansatan symbols of knowledge and wisdom.
SKILLS:
Kazjin's advanced training from a child has made his skills in Force use advanced, along with that his skills with a blade are nearly unmatched. His outgoing and friendly demeanor alongside his ranking within the Jedi Order make him well liked and strong at pulling those to his side.
STRENGTHS:
Kazjin's was recognized as formidable warrior and generally considered one of the greatest swordsmen. Through his training as a Jedi Guardian, Kazjin was able to focus more on his mastery of forms of lightsaber combat, which came naturally to him. Which he mastered to a degree that made him one of the finest swordsmen in the Jedi Order. Master Aeir Lunaren regarded Kazjin as the most cunning Jedi he'd met, saying that he'd taught him a few tricks. Kazjin was a masters of the Juyo, Niman, Makashi and Ataru forms, which determined his grace, serenity, fluency, and elegance in lightsaber combat. Even though these styles were considered to be better against lightsaber wielding opponents than blaster wielding ones, Kazjin also appeared to have some training in the Jar'Kai style, as he expertly wielded an double-bladed-staff Lightsaber. Kazjin's Carths heritage was evident in the accuracy and agility he demonstrated when moving and fighting in bustling crowds. Allowing him to speed up his movements faster than any other Jedi.
His mastery of the Force was extensive, Kazjin was known to be able to ponder matters of the dark and light sides of the Force with a clarity. also possessed an impressive resistance to the lures of the dark side, channeling his inner darkness into his attacks to help him serve the light. This allowed him to utilize some of the darkest powers known to either Jedi or Sith without succumbing to his aggression, such as the terrible Force Crush. Kazjin was known to use the Force to enhance the capabilities of his body, and as such, was able to leap to great heights and across enormous distances. He demonstrated proficiency in the application of the Force Wave power. Kazjin's advance skills in Perception allowed him to perceive his surroundings, especially in bustling crowds. He used this ability to evaded blaster bolts instead of deflecting them. As with many Guardians, Kazjin had the Force ability to deflect Force lightning. He was also a skilled healer, using his healing powers to keep himself and his allies alive. Kazjin was so powerful and strong in the Force that he was also a master at controlling beasts like rancors, sarlaccs.
WEAKNESSES:
His greatest weakness is his family. Both of his family members are a sore spot for the Jedi Council Member, though he has learned to live with their choices. Along with his family being a sore spot he has been known to in the past over-react to situations. The Jedi are a upper class, highly looked upon faction and he sometimes resorts to barbaric means to take on challenges.
GEAR:
Datapad, Utility Belt, Comlink, light cloaks and Historian robes, Single-Bladed Lightsaber(Silvery-blue)
Personality
Kazjin is highly outgoing and friendly man, often trying to look for the best in others. He has a strong control over his emotions and rarely allows them to take the best of him. He is kind and respectful to those around him, strongly believing in the Jedi Code despite his past. Being raised in the ways of the Jedi gave him a sense of that was all there was, he can often be found meditating for hours and practicing the ways of the Code to better fulfill himself; this trait has been with him for nearly all of his life as a Jedi. He was once known as being overly serious, but with age his outlook on life and the Force has changed. It will more often be seen helping those in need through humor or simply aid. He does however know when to be serious and can maintain himself in situations as he has a calm mentality thanks to experience. He does not allow obstacles to take the best of him and always tries to fulfill his goals and earn recognition for the Jedi Order.
Kazjin's Childhood
Kazjin was the son to Rev Carth and Adi Carth. His father was once known as a Jedi Knight only to be killed by a group of Pirates that assaulted his starship and crash landing on Corellia. This would leave his mother a Jedi Master and her unborn child stranded alone. My Mother was taken in by settlers on the outskits of the city. he was sixth of eight children that live in the settlement. Three of my kin who came before me died before their lives could begin by hutt raiders, the fourth was captured by slavers from the Hutt empire, and before My mother left to return to the Jedi Order after I was born. She vowed that my step father I never know of his true parents and that a Jedi one day will come and retrieve him. So, I was left in the care for my aging step father, a veteran of two planetary wars, with my older brother and sister. We were farmers, herdsmen and hunters, a breed dying slowly on Corellia at the time. We struggled to survive, between famine, sickness, and the bandits that came routinely to prey on our wretched kind.Kazjin's life would have probably ended there, had it not been for the Jedi Order. One day, a Jedi Master named Klix Vex came to find me at our homestead. He told him that he was sensitive to the Force, and that he was to go to Coruscant with him to learn its ways. My step father was eager to send me away from the toils of that place, from the damnation that had befallen us. Kazjin had little choice but to agree. The Jedi took me away, and he wonder to this day how my brother and sister fared. Kazjin always wonder what became of my step father, and of the children that left or were taken before my time.
Kazjin was taught as a youngling under Master Von, who taught him to control my power and temper. He learned the history of the Galaxy, of the Republic, and of the Jedi Order. Only one was important to him. his step father had urged him to devote himself fully to the Jedi teachings, so that He might one day become more than he could ever dream of being. He wanted him to be safe, and to be strong growing older. Kazjin could not fail him. He will not fail him.
Kazjin learned, and argued, and struggled within him selves every day. He was by no means the star pupil – Kazjin had my share of failures, doubt, and guilt. But He never stopped. Kazjin never relinquished my grasp on the rope that was to take him beyond where he was. He needed to be greater. He needed to be stronger – for himself, and for my family. Kazjin thought then that He might one day return to them, and save them from the poverty and death that they faced with every waking moment. He was sorely mistaken.
Journeys of a Padawan
The young Kazjin Carth would proceed to train in the ways of the Jedi and never know of his true parents, a lie had been crafted so he would never figure out who they truly were. The way of the Jedi to destroy any and all c connections as to not allow them to interfere with training and above all else causing a Jedi to stray from his or her chosen path. It was bestowed upon the young boy to be a Guardian, just as his mother had been, though unknown to the boy. He truly was a spitting image of his mother in nearly all aspects. Being raised in the ways of a true Jedi, Kazjin never seemed to stray from the path. He would follow the instructions of all his Masters and never question their wisdom or intelligence. It would not be long before he was given a lightsaber, his tool for defending the Jedi. It was then that he was given a new Jedi Master, a Ithorian by the name of Aeir Lunaran a strong Force user and even more advanced in the skills of the Lightsaber use. He would spend nearly ever waking hour of the day with his new found Master at the Sokan Enclave on Caamas, allowing his teachings in Form V to advance until he was nearly at the stage of Master in the use of the blade. It was Six years he spent with Master Lunaran before Sacking of Corusant, This came as a harsh hit to the young Jedi, something that took some time to get over, but through the guidance of his Master and the Council he managed to surpass the emotional obstacle.
Preparing for the Trials
When Kazjin was twenty years old, Master Lunaran told him that their time was growing short. He told him that he would run a year-long assignment to ensure that He was ready for the Trials, and that, when the assignment was done, he would consider Kazjin a true Jedi. Kazjin was eager to face the challenges – He believed that his training had made me something invincible, like He was already a legend among men. He was wrong, and the assignment was designed to prove it.
Kazjin was sent to any numinous of worlds, searching for clues, artifacts, and beasts of various kinds to test his mental and physical prowess. Kazjin was accosted by massive creatures, and gangs of vicious wildmen and criminals. From the jungles of Yavin to the dilapidated rising cityscape of Atzerri, He learned to adapt and survive on my own in a variety of places. The ordeal was arduous, draining, and far too long by the end for my own liking. The year passed like an eternity; but Kazjin learned too much to regret what He had endured.
On Yavin Kazjin investigated the disappearance of a prospector, and learned that the people of a colony there had turned cannibal to survive in the prolonged absence of civilization. He hunted game to sustain himself – they chained, tortured, and ate one-another. Children were had to be used as food. Blood-stained garments and structures marked them for what they were. Even the vicious predators of that place were wary of the cannibal camp. Considering the screams, Kazjin didn’t know how they could not have been.
They were meant to help him search for an artifact of the Jedi that was buried on the jungle moon, but they clearly were not fit for the job. Kazjin was left to find it himself, and He drew upon my knowledge of the Jedi, and of the Force, to find his way. Kazjin felt the throng of life on that odd moon, and how the currents of energy swayed throughout the canopy above him. Kazjin stretched out with his feelings, and sought the old structure where the item was buried. It was not easy to get inside, nor was it easy to find the artifact within. Traps were hidden around every corner – pitfalls, spikes, arrows that spit forth from the wall to riddle the unsuspecting treasure hunter. It was one of the most grueling ordeals He could remember.
But He survived. Kazjin defeated the very monument he had invaded, and found the treasure hidden deep within its confines. It was a golden trinket, in the shape of an eye, that was said to give glimpses of the future to its user. Kazjin lacked the knowledge or skill then to use it himself. He was content to let the future remain clouded, and let the Masters of the Order have the prize of the day. When He left Yavin IV, Kazjin sent a report with the artifact detailing the fate of the colony there. He do not know what action was taken as a result.
Another adventure in the Assignment saw him on Muunilist, acting as arbiter between a number of feuding businesses that were teetering precariously on the threshold of open war. To be called ‘Master Jedi’ over and over by men in power had an odd effect on his pride. Kazjin wasn’t sure whether to like the sensation, or swear it away. He would realize later that the misnomer was the result of attempted flattery. The bankers and swindlers wanted my power on their side, so as to end the war before it could begin and ensure that they were the ones in power. Had it not been for another Jedi there, a man named Vex Nomad, He might have fallen into the trap.
Along with Vex, Kazjin managed to broker a number of deals between the merchant kings. The war was staved off for the time, but He doubt that the Muun were ever free of power-mongering. Assassination and treason were the fare of the era while Kazjin was braving his master’s Assignment, and He doubt it has changed much, since. His work was over – the deed was done. Kazjin sent the report to Caamas and Tython, and then was on his way. It was around this time that He learned that the Manadolaran Blockade had been resolved, and Coruscant’s hyperlanes had been opened once again.
Of course, the next trial sent him back to the capital. Kazjin was to travel deep into the underbelly of the world – into the seediest of criminal havens – and find an agent who had been stirring unrest among the destitute and downtrodden. He was a squirrely fellow, but Master Lunarans’ training made me more than able to catch him off-guard. He had been dealing in spice, deathsticks, Mist, and any number of other awful drugs and vices. He had drugged an entire gang into his service – a feat that Kazjin thought was remarkable, but that is not to say that it had never been done before.
He surprised him, though. He managed to sedate Kazjin during his questioning, and then the chase was on. Kazjin tripped and lunged his way through a factory complex after him, willing himself through the haze and sickness induced by his chemical mixture. Kazjin was probably too drugged to realize how many times He came awfully close to realizing his demise. Nevertheless, by the end Kazjin caught him upon a catwalk high above the factory furnace. Kazjin remember the anger that gripped him, and the opportunity he recognized to toss him into the pit of fire beneath and be done with his wretched life.
That was part of my test, you see: to feel the rage that would course through me, and to bat it down with his own will. It was not easy. Kazjin remember that he wanted nothing more than to cast him into oblivion right there. He remember hearing his mentor’s lessons in his mind. Kazjin held the scum of the galaxy by the throat on that walkway at the mouth of Hell, but Kazjin did not seek vengeance for what he had done to him, or to others. He had to be tried for his crimes. That is the way of justice – that is the way of the Jedi.
Jedi Knight Trials
When the trials came, Master Lunaran assured Kazjin that he was ready. Kazjin succeeded, surmounting the challenges placed before him, just as He had on the Assignment Master Aeir Lunaran assign, and Kazjin was declared a Knight of the Jedi Order. The rat-tail Kazjin had worn since my early years was cut away, and he was recognized as an equal among some of the most powerful, respected individuals the galaxy shall ever know. A sense of pride welled up in him, he am not ashamed nor afraid to say. he had accomplished a great deed – and He had fulfilled my Step father’s wishes.
It was Kazjin greatest accomplishment, a feat he had hoped to achieve since joining the Order and finally given the title. Along with this title came a new sense of responsibility and character. Kazjin once humorous and outspoken character had changed greatly. No longer was he the child at heart he had been, but the adult and Jedi he would become. A more serious demeanor took over him, his humor still laying underneath and occasionally coming out, though it was the title that would make him the Jedi he was. It was no longer his goal to be a Jedi Knight, but to become a Master, make his way to the Council just as his Master had been and hopefully some day becoming Grandmaster. A longshot of a goal, but through the Force anything is possible...
Training as Jedi Archivist
Kazjin was the Jedi in charge of the Jedi libraries, and other databases containing information on the Jedi Order and its history. Kazjin would often remain close to the Jedi Temple Archives on Coruscant or Tyhon, or join the ExplorCorps and travel the galaxy to expand his knowledge. Kazjin Specialized in the storage, organization and retrieval of knowledge, Kazjin would receive and archive knowledge so that others might learn, and in the process expand his own awareness of the galaxy. Delving into many areas of study, allowing the Force to guide him to their areas of specialty, Kazjin saw much combat, Kazjin were mostly sent on data-retrieval missions, or to accompany diplomats in need of a constant stream of information.
In these troubled times Kazjin was always there to answer the calling. Whether it was the council sending him on a delivery mission, or a fellow Jedi in need of help, he was there. Kazjin was beginning to get a reputation for his willingness to help others no matter what the cause, taking on Padawans in vast numbers when the Order lacked the numbers to do the strenuous teachings. These teaching brought about multiple bonds with the students he long taught how to become Jedi, they were his brothers and sisters, and the hopefuls and Padawans were his "children."
These years as a Knight proved to be trying times. Training several Padawan's to Knighthood came as a great success to Kazjin. Raising the hopefuls through the ranks to his very own gave him a sense of peace, giving to others what they desired. Each Padawan having a small part of himself inside of them, and them in return in himself. Not only in these years had he taught his Padawans, but they had taught him just as much, if not more. These trainings would pay off as he was soon given the rank of Jedi Master. A head in the Jedi Order his next goal would be that of reaching the Council and lending a hand in making trying decisions for the order...
Path of The Master
It would be trying times that would follow upon his promotion in rank to Jedi Master in the Jedi Order. Experiencing much of the Great Galactic War as a Jedi Master it was a time where he had to guide the younglings, Padawans, and Knights through troubling times. It would be during this time he would meet the love of his life, Ara Marcoe, It was perhaps her need of guidance or fragile mentality towards life that had the Jedi Master embrace his Padawan as more than a student to teacher relationship, whatever it was it led to them having a child, a son. Fearing their removal from the Jedi Order upon the birth of their child, Glen, they attempted to keep it secret. However Grandmaster Master Satele Shan approved of not only their child, but of their marriage. Soon after the birth the two would be wed, only to continue their routine as Jedi Master and Jedi Knight within the Order.
Years would pass and technology would advance, not by wrongdoing of any of the members, but the sway of the Darkside. Long had Kazjin watched as Ara fought her past, he strain as she combated her thoughts of slavery she experienced growing up. Her hate for the slavers would only grow as time passed before her inevitable collision with the Darkside. She would find herself too far drowning in the darkness and would leave the Order to join the Sith, this clash would inevitably pull Glen into the mixture.
A constant struggle would soon follow between husband and wife as they wished protection for their child, little did Ara know she was swaying him to her side as each day passed. Two years after her descent Glen would go down the same path, leaving Kazjin to himself and the Order, forever wishing to rejoin his family, but not willing to turn his back on his beliefs. His hopes and thoughts of redemption were all he had to keep him sane. His meditations would increase if not for the simple reason to keep his own dark thoughts from surfacing, his biggest hope would having his family returned to him, he however did not see the Darkside as an answer to get them back. Long has he fought the Darkside and won the battles, but his digression has only increased as time goes by, with the help of his fellow Jedi and the council imparticular he has made it through the hardest of times and only hopes the Great Galactic War Conflicts will in some way return him to his family, and his family to the Lightside of the Force.
