Appearance:
Physical Description:
Kira's a rather striking young girl; it often takes people by surprise that she's chosen the life that she has. Long brown hair, kept as neat as she can under usual circumstances. Hazel eyes, unblemished and smooth olive skin. Thin, athletic build that gives away her agility and dexterity. In another life, she might have been a model, appearing in advertisements across the galaxy. In this life however, she's kept to herself and her crew - a face many would remember, but rarely recognize.
Choice of Attire:
On your average occasion, Kira's attire is very unassuming. Tight leather pants, large boots, black tank top - to most she appears to be your typical starship operator. This is how she prefers it. The fewer people making assumptions about what she does, the easier her business tends to be. There are no obvious hiding places for weaponry, making security less tense with her in the room. (often another very important detail, in her mind. Security who isn't thinking about how to kill you is always a good thing) It's also subtly physically appealing, which helps to put her employers in a bit more agreeable mood.
Preferred Equipment:
Whenever possible, Kira carries a pair of customized Mandalorian style pistols (exact make and such to be determined). They pack quite a punch, aren't bad on the recoil, and have wonderful accuracy, all things she values greatly when needing to shoot straight from the hip. She'll also keep a couple flash grenades handy, and a comm unit tied to similar comms with her crew. It will also accept calls from others.

Smuggling:
How exactly Kira got involved in smuggling is something of a mystery, one she keeps close to the chest. However, it's quickly apparent that she does, in fact, have the right mind for the job. Her sharp wit and even sharper tongue have a knack for getting her out of trouble just as quickly as she can get into it. This carries into nearly every facet of her profession: Allowing her to make tough decisions almost immediately, so as never to show the weakness of indecision; the ability to swing most conversations back in her favor, even when odds are stacking against her. These, coupled with her use of her charm and good looks, grant her several successes in obtaining contracts, closing business arrangements, and avoiding trouble with the authorities.
Combat:
Kira's wit, attentiveness, and tendency to quick decision making also carry into combat. While she's a quick draw with great aim, if she can help it at all, she'll find the path that gives her the most advantage, fair or unfair. There are few "dirty" tactics that are above her, and she's been known to use blinding, smokescreen, flanking, cheap shots, distractions, and all other manner of trickery to gain an edge in a fight. When fighting alongside her crew, you'll likely find her sneaking out of sight to find some way to surprise her enemies and end the fight in a hurry.
Starship:
The origins of Kira's smuggling ship are as much a mystery as her career in smuggling. For the past few years, she's lived exclusively aboard the Storm Tide, A medium sized, heavily modified freighter capable of living 8-9 people comfortably. Among the modifications are several smuggler favorites: jammers, scramblers, id hacks, and several other tools designs to mislead and redirect. When combat becomes necessary, the ship also comes equipped with two mounted turrets and a pair of forward firing missile tubes. The interior, of course, is a smuggler's dream, with countless hidden comparments, some large enough and comfortable enough to hide a family in, let alone cargo. It's very rare for Kira to go somewhere and not have the Storm Tide within reach.
History:
Full story to be determined in detail at a later date. As it's unlikely she'll divulge it anyway, suffice to say she's a smuggler just accomplished enough to own her own ship, isn't yet very well known, but ambitious enough to work her way up the chain, and those who -do- know her admire her ability to get results.
Personality:
Kira's a charming individual, quick to get along with others. She's also incredibly confident, and a little proud. Some may even call it ego. To which she'd respond that sometimes an ego's necessary for this gig. Nevertheless, she loves what she does, and is more at home on her ship than anywhere else. Despite her charming, friendly appearance, however, there is little she is not above trying in an effort to get what she needs, be it blackmail, leverage, using her charm and good looks persuasively, etc. Ultimately, she -is- a friendly person and enjoys those moments where a good conversation is all that's on her plate.
Affiliations:
Kira is a republic sympathizer, being young enough to know nothing but the war. She idolizes the smuggler that broke the mandalorian blockade a few years back, and hopes to one day see the opportunity to do something equally great. For now, she makes a point of running jobs for the republic (specifically the Jedi) smuggling goods through Sith territory to get them into good hands. While she is again not above taking less legal contracts, she prefers this work, as it's generally less stressful dealing with Jedi employers than it would be the criminal syndicate.

Trivia:
- Though Kira claims to have taken her pistols from the dead body of a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter she stumbled into a fire fight with, few believe her. Their true origin is unknown.
- Several rumors have spread about Kira's life before becoming a smuggler, everything from escaping a brothel to escaping a boring life as a noble from some outer rim planet. Kira's amused by such rumors, and does little to correct them.
