Khoras Nu'daar (Kross Naadar in Basic)

Biography

Khoras Nud’aar was borne on Ryloth and was a member of a librarian family seeking out history and lore throughout the galaxy. His father Marcus Nud’aar was an Archaeologist and taught diplomats and republic soldiers history about various planets and indigenous tribes. His mother died at birth due to various complications with medicine and treatment.

Marcus was teaching Khoras everything he knew about archaeology and history and turned them into heroic tales, some filled with glory and honor, some betrayal and despair, this filled Khoras with a perverse interest for history and exploration. One day at the age of 8, Marcus took Khoras with him to a republic ran moon for one of his lectures and to meet some of the republic soldiers and to see some of the galaxy, little did they know this was going to change their lives forever. During Marcuse’s lecture the moon was attacked by a [sith] worshiping battle group. They went through building after building slaughtering the republic soldiers. Marcus and Khoras were hiding in his study room on the base when the door suddenly burst open, it was a sith worshiper holding a long, thin vibroblade. Marcus jumped in front of khoras and charged worshiper trying to defend khoras, but he was too strong and Marcus got killed in front of Khoras. A surge of fury and hatred filled Khoras, he could feel the power within him, it was like the Jedi stories his father had told him. The worshiper started to move towards Khoras, and as he lifted his viborblade to strike down upon khoras, khoras moved his hands up to shield his face and without control released a shock wave of anger and hatred on the worshiper sending him flying out of the room, crushed up against a wall in the outside in the hallway. A Jedi walking down the hallway trying to find khoras sensing his connection to the force saw everything, Feeling khoras hatred, Anger and lust for revenge. The Jedi, named Taki’ur approached khoras feeling a pressure forcing him back, it was khoras’s energy flowing out from his body as his hatred grew stronger and stronger, Taki’ur raised his hand towards the boy and used a simple mind trick to calm the boy down. Fearing the boy would end up on the dark side, Taki’ur took the boy with him to the Jedi temple, to teach him discipline, the way of the force and skill with the saber, but more important, to suppress his anger.

Khoras was a fast learner and had a natural talent for combat and graceful movements with a lightsaber and soon became one of the top saber masters’ within the temple. His perverse interest for history and lore was still with him and now with the access to the Jedi library his knowledge became even broader. Khoras eventually got declared a master and a scholar within the Jedi order, teaching younglings the history of the Jedi, the republic, and the ways of the people in the galaxy.
