Description:

Appearance:

Although known by Dark Council as a Clawdite, Darth Feiros prefers to maintain a human disguise. The Empire has never been a society willing to value diversity. To be alien is an immediate sign of unworthiness. Thus Darth Feiros always attempts to keep her appearance human when among members of the order and she usually keeps to the same form...that of an older woman of distinguished features.

Regardless of the preference for this form, Darth Feiros was capable of taking a number of different species and forms as her disguise as long as the new form was of similar body size and shape.

Most Lords are unaware of her species and she has gone to extreme lengths to keep it so.

Distinctive Marks:

A Clawdite's ability to change for was their distinguishing feature and the source of much pride and pain for the species. Therefore, flaws in the quality of a shift could be not only disgraceful but also substantially limiting.

No matter what form Feiros takes there is a patch of gray, Clawdite skin starting under her right eye and moving up the bridge of her nose between the eyes. It should be noted that she could alter the texture and even encourage hair to grow in the area, but could never coax a pigment shift. After years of trying to fight the "scar" Lady Feiros decided to mask it my embracing it. Manipulating the surrounding skin she now covers it by making the blemish an integral part of a network of facial tattoos she adopts in several human forms.

In her preferred form this tattoo surrounds the right eye and extends into the hairline under Feiros's ear.

Sometime she does find it necessary to cover with facial makeup.

Class/Skills/Attributes:

Lady Feiros is a Sith Master skilled in the art of espionage and information acquisition. For years she has bent her shapeshifting and sometimes acerbic nature to manipulating or tormenting individuals into serving the Empire, whether through their actions or their knowledge.

She is able to manifest the Force as most of her rank: lightning and variations of telekinesis are common in battle. In line with her interrogation tactics she can use the Force to induce pain, a skill she still seeks to fully refine.

Mekt Themata is not as savy with weapons. She trained only in the makashi saber form. Its precision inspired her to enhance her practice of Force pain techniques by attempting to target specific anatomical points thus turning the Force into a precise weapon of torture. Development of this skill would assist in gathering information as well as combat, but she has yet to perfect it.

Equipment/Apparel:

Mekt carries very little on her person at any given time, preferring to use her environment to her advantage in any situation. She wears a traditional solid black robe and carries a comlink, datapad, and lightsaber only.

Her saber was unique in that it was designed specifically to complement her combat style. The fluid movements of Form II do not call for flashy acrobatics or complex blade rotations. The hilt remains rooted in the users grip and forces the wrist, arm, and footwork to compensate for this limitation. Translating this aspect of the form literally, Lady Feiros included three holes and a slight depression in the hilt. The holes are for her pinky, ring and middle finger, and the depression fits her index finger. The design allows her to literally root her hand to the weapon.

Character:

Personality:

A changeling in every way, Feiros's personality depends on the company that surrounds her. Alone her mind has a tendency to meander, among others her focus sharpens. She is often coy when she speaks, an intentional ruse that complements her affected appearances (often either stunningly beautiful or motherly). She thoroughly enjoys playing individuals against one another and drawing enemies and allies alike into underestimating her ability to engineer...inopportune...situations.

Her callous nature with some can be displaced by a legitimate warmth and kindness. Her habit of shifting temperament leaves many off balance. Chief among such individuals are the Lady's apprentices.

Beliefs:

Feiros believes in the shifting order of life which the Sith emulate through the Dark Side. She sees how the rise and fall of individuals maintains the balance of power and observes it even in the age old pattern of neer extinctions between the Sith and Jedi orders. Although she strives for the destruction of the Jedi, she does so from a sense of duty rather than hatred, believing instead that the jedi serve the purpose of strengthening the Sith. Together, she believes the constant conflict between the two factions will strengthen the galaxy.

Although not outspoken with such views they have been noted by several, masters especially, and she has been frequently accused of simpathizing with the Jedi.

Goals and Ambitions:

Ambition is not a word that openly factors into the psyche of Darth Feiros. She is fiercely loyal to the Council and the Emperor they serve, a trait very unusual among the Sith. Although she has come to doubt the merit of this loyalty it most likely extends from the high level of connectivity afforded by her relationship with the Dark Council and is thus, less than selfless. Networks are her life.

Above all, Feiros loves information, which her masters have an abundance of. Her sole ambition is to gain knowledge, not just of Sith or even Jedi learning, but on an intergalactic scale that is ever growing. It is one of the reasons she is afforded such privilege by the Lords...they don't anticipate ever running short of intellectual bait to dangle before her eyes.

She is something of an archivist...

Appearances in Fiction:

Many Sith have been called to train and the newly restored Dark Side Temple on the lost planet Dromund Kaas. But for what purpose are they really being summoned?

Quotes/Mottos:

History:

Back story:

The history of Mekt Themata is largely unknown. It was a shock to the Dark Council when, one day, a Clawdite baby mysteriously appeared at the Academy on Korriban, having presumably been left there by its parents. There had been no ship activity that day and certainly no known Clawdites on world. It was speculated that she was born within the Academy's walls, but her parents were never found, although Mekt's Force sensitivity has lead to a number of theories on that matter as well.

This stunning display of infiltration peeked the Councils interests, but they had no way to utilize the talent; the child was untrained and the parents were either gone or refused to reveal themselves. They sent the baby back to her homeworld under the watchful eyes of a master tasked with indoctrinating the child over the course of her development. Here she could learn to use her latent genetic abilities. And so she did, recieving the name Mekt Themata from her people.

She progressed through the Sith ranks over the course of her long life, from apprentice to assassin, assassin to master, master to spy, and spy to spy-master. She eventually became one of many handlers in the Empire's Infiltrator project; she oversaw the training of agent Kayle Tas. But her archival skill and pension for gathering useful information was too much to squander on any one individual. Feiros has, with the blessing of the Council, developed her own intelligence and operations cell as a separate but cooperative branch of Imperial Intelligence. This network encompasses agents, paid informants, Ministry of Intelligence liaisons like Krayn Tes'Kar, and traditional apprentices like warrior Vedecan Ilmora.

Her beliefs have inspired some strong opposition, especially in light of her rise. Many have accused her of simpathyzing and even secretly assisting the Jedi. One such accusation ended in a struggle that nearly cost Mekt her life...but earned her the title of Darth. Darth Feiros is a collector of secrets, not a giver, and little else is immediately discernable.

Xenophobes:

The Sith are Xenophobes and always have been. The True Sith species...or the red-skinned hybrid species that remains, is the only near-human species that garners any respect in the empire. It is even safe to say they are considered as good as humans. Anyone else is fodder.

It would further explain why she has her own side thing going on. The council sees her as useful but it doesn't mean they WANT to deal with her. Krayn would get further attached if he thinks they share the kinship of being aliens among the sith. She would naturally get thrown the dregs of sith society and have to gravitate towards more broken individuals. By using honeyed words and actions as a lure (even if mixed with traditional sith loyalty) she inspires greater loyalty. Her charges consider her a mother making them less likely to look down on her or betray her.
