Leyasu Moor Was a Kel Dor Jedi born during the Great War. He most notably fought at the Sacking of Coruscantshowing a uncanny calm and ability to inspire those around him. Wielding a yellow lightsaber he is deadly when usingTràkata a formidable match for anyone.

History

Early Life

• Baran Do Cult

Born on Dorin, he was born to a historically Baran Do family at this time the Baran Do sages were more like an old relics of Dorin and held not real political influence, or power. Leyasu parents were both practicing Sages, but they twisted the old philosophy and ways to fit there own agenda. Forming a small cult on Dorin his parents and their followers used the dark side of the Force to manipulate and extort people in there local city trying to restore there own vision of what the Baran Do sages did.

The Jedi were soon alerted to this dark cult of sages, sending the Jedi Knight Zala LaCerra to deal with the increasingly more dangerous Dark Baran Do Cult and their leaders. The reign of terror was over LaCerra had once again brought peace and prosperity to the Dorin City but this left the toddler Leyasu now an orphan, both of his parents falling to the dark side and loosing their lives for it. Zala saw the silver eyes of the young Leyasu like his parents. Recognizing this as a common trait for force sensitive Kel'Dors. She knew with the right guidance he could become a Jedi she took the toddler Leyasu to Courscant. Knowing it was partly her responsibility to see that the child was taken care of.

• The Ugly Youngling

As a youngling growing up on Coruscant he was the only Kel Dor in his Youngling Clan.Often being made fun of he learned early to tell jokes about himself before anyone else could. The youngling was slightly above average with his use of the force but by no means a prodigy. Besides that young Leyasu was more concerned about doing impersonations of Jedi masters. He did a great impression of the AleenaJedi Master Iin Tal Koden who was his instructor at the academy. Master Koden lead the The Krayt Dragon Clan that Leyasu was a member of.

At a young age Leyasu would sometime leave the Temple, and would explore the sewers of Coruscant. Doing this from time to time gave him peace. He would find tunnels that were polluted enough were the air itself seem to resemble Dorin. Once here he would listen to the sounds of the wind and gasses that rushed through the under city believing that the wind would talk to him.

Padawan Era

• Master of the bruise

Guardian Jedi Knight Amarue was a Hysalrian assigned with the young Leyasu on Courscant. Amarue was skilled with the duel blade but did not teach Leyasu this style of combat. He taught him Form Vand to be a Jedi Sentinelthe opposite of himself. For his four armed intimidating appearance (usually hid two arms under his cloak) you could not have met a more peaceful, and loyal Knight. Amarue quickly took a liking to his young Padawan but to Leyaus surprise he could never seem to get his master to laugh. When teaching young Leyasu combat Amarue almost seem to transform he was a relentless in there many sparing sessions. Amarue used Form VII Juyo. When using the Force he was equally as cunning using choke on rare occasion. His reasoning for being so over powering when asked by other Knights he would always respond “They do call it force”. Leyasu took his daily but whippings well and in time, he was not always whipped.

Early on in his training Leyasu and Amarue would travel to different planets helping to save endangered animals throughout the galaxy. This was important to Amarue for his people were on the verge of extinction. The early years also focused a lot on the history of the Order and past wars with the Sith. But at the same time the two Jedi were in the middle of the Great War.

The Great War

Battle of Manaan

At the Battle of ManaanLeyasu was know stranger to the horrors of war, taking part in several minor campaigns this was his first lost in battle. Aiding his Master in evacuating the local and remaining Selkathpopulation,to the safety of the sea. They were also joined by Spenta Myrunji and his padawan. Leyasu showed a cool head as the city they were in was destroyed, and sunk to the bottom of the ocean. He also saw the ferocity and talent of his master in combat he was amazed and proud at the same time. The two Jedi Knights Amarue and Spenta handle waves after wave on the Sith onslaught as the young Padawns evacuated the civilians. After the battle Amarue and Leyasu had a short respite but the war was expanding. Soon they were in combat once again in the Battle of Agamar.

Battle of Agamar

This was the second main offensive of the Great War the battle was more of a massacre. When the two arrived at the battle, Amarue was given the task along with Spenta Myrunji of holding the western line. The battle was intestines and they held the line for a little over two days finally being overrun by the Sith. Most of the battle was a long retreat as they barley escaped the planet with their lives. When they finally escaped they headed back to Courscant, on the journey home Amarue got into a heated discussion with some of the other Masters on how the battle went. Many Jedi died that day it was not easy for all of them to keep emotions in check.

The End of the World

After the battle of Agamar Amarue was seemed to be bothered but was back to his old self soon. “Master we were alone on that western line” looking up at Leyasu master Amarue said The Force... Tell me once when it has abandoned you? They soon found themselves on the way to the Elom. Once there the mission was to search for some ancient writing that might lead to a holocron. Amarue did not like this assignment and resented it he felt as if the Masters from the battle of Agamar were trying to get back at him for earlier.

Traveling all over the planet they came to a large and deep cave that was near the equator. The cave itself was not only dark but it held the impression of the dark side of the force. Even know it was near the equator the outside of the cave had icicles the cave was cold. The two entered the cave sticking close with one another deep into the cave they traveled until coming upon what seemed to be an old temple. In the mists of this temple was a large pillar with old Sith writings inscribed on it. Master Amarue activated his saber to read the the words it gave enough light. The Padawan sat on the ground as his master read the pillar as the hours turned into days the two were silent in the cave.

“I found it Ley, I can stop this war.” As he spoke those words the dark side flooded the cave. Leyasu activated his light saber “No master” he could feel in his heart what his master was going to say. Amarue said it anyway “Join me Leyasu we can end this war, we have the power to do so now”The two were soon locked in saber combat Leyasu was holding his own but it would be soon before he was bested. As the two fought Leyasu begged his now fallen master to stop the madness. Amarue would respond that the war is madness and it must come to an end. The onslaught of the Dark Jedi was unbearable, and before Leyasu was slain he started to head out of the cave in a dash for his life. He figured that perhaps the cave itself was fueling the new Dark Knight. “Ley Down” Amarue chanted and laughed as he chased after his former Padawan. When Leyasu reached the entrance of the cave he thought fast. He turned to face his old master before his master could exit Leyasu lifted his hands and used the Force to bring down the entire cave Amarue was devoured by the cave Leyasu brought it down around him he had killed his master he felt as if it was the end of the world.

Leyasu for the first time was alone but he remembered what his master had told him The Force when has it abandoned you? He traveled back to Coruscant to inform the council on what had happen. He was soon appointed to Jedi Knight the council knew his Jedi Trials were more then complete.

Leyasu was a young and accomplished Knight when the Sacking of Coruscantoccured he took part in the battle leading republic troops and Jedi older then himself. A natural affinity to Battle precognitionthe attack was not a complete surprise to the Leyasu (Baran Do trait). During the attack at the Temple he was separated from his padawan and the other masters. He took to the streets fighting alongside the senate gaurd. When given the order to retreat he lead the 5th Rocket-jumper unit & a dozen key senators. To safety of the sewers. While they retreated, he did not loose a single troop over the 27 mile hike. This is also where Moor defeated several Sith Knight, before making it to saftey.

As the battle raged on overhead, Leyasu secured the troops and went back for more survivors. During this time he became lost and disoriented in the pipelines and collapsed tunnels. The familiar underworld was now a dark labyrinth with no apparent escape. From the corner of his eye he saw what looked to be two Baran Do Sages.He believed these were the wind spirits he that he would talk to as a child. But they were actually force ghostof his parents. They pleaded with him to return to Dorin and restore the sages to a proper place in society when he refused they attacked him. Once the battle was over he realized that the entire thing was a vision he soon found his way back to his troops. The battle overhead had also come to a close.
