Welcome to the SW:The Old Republic RP Wiki!

This site is dedicated to being a community home for people intending to roleplay in the upcoming BioWare/LucasArts MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic.

While the game may yet be a while from being completed, already a large community of avid RP'ers and creative writers has formed on the game forum, and this page is intended to give these people a place to store memorable stories, character profiles and guild information as well as helping people who are new to the experience of Roleplaying with some hints and tips.

Of course, this being a Wiki, it is a community project and will only be as good as you make it! That being said, we hope you use this place for what it is intended, and by the time the game launches, we will already have a large and friendly RP community gathered.

Breaking News: The Republic needs you!

Leading Republic sociologists warn about signs of stagnation in the Republic. The increasing tension with the Sith Empire, separatist forces and rising crime rates have increased popularity of tradition, family and appreciation of the past, according to recent surveys taken on over 400 participating planets. This may lead to a decline in innovation and cultural advancement, and therefore the Republic's peace and prosperity.

The Republic, however, is already taking steps to counter this development before it even has a chance to develop into a crisis. New trends in lifestyle and art, new technologies and new ways of thinking are to be fostered, so that our culture of individual freedom, constant advancement and integration of thousands of species may continue unhindered. The Republic is, and always will be, the leading cultural, economic and technological force in the known universe.

Breaking News: Moderator droid escaped from the Three Star Droid factory!

An experimental, high-tech moderator droid has escaped from a laboratory in the Espen asteroid belt, and supposedly escaped to the galactic core by now. The Galactic Republic offers a substantial bounty to any hints that lead to capturing the rogue droid. Details can be found here.

UPDATE: Zelkin Infinium has invaded SWTOR RP Wiki and has assumed moderator control! Soon, peace and order will be brought to the galaxy by the Empire's new executive force.
