Story
Nile was born on Tatooine, son of an experienced hunter, who was in turn from a long line of experienced hunters. A smart and educated boy he enjoyed hunting Wraids with his vibrosword and worked part time at the local cantina as a bar man. His experience as a hunter shaped his fighting style, and his experience as a barman practiced his charisma and persuasion skills.
He became bored of his narrow experience and longed to be an adventurer like his wild yet good natured uncle. Armed with a Bryar pistol he bought with his 18th birthday present money, and his trusty hunting vibrosword, he began his adventuring life taking part in a pirate raid on Czerka ships loaded with valuable cargo. The leader of said raid was Castiel Drann. On the raid he also managed to steal a rusty, old, barely serviceable Republic starfighter, which importantly was hyperdrive capable. He started learning to fly on his escape back to Tatooine, where he managed to repair the ship using the credits gained when he sold the stolen Czerka cargo.
After a Jawa bounty hunter took him Nal Hutta with promise of adventure, he met a group of strong Force Adepts, a mixture of Jedi, Grey Masters, and Sith. Their influence awakened his conciousness to the force, and he longed to learn more about this thing that semeed to have such a strong pull on him. A charismatic young Sith couple told him about the Sith academy on Korriban. With impatience towards the cautious and seemingly timid Jedi, and eager to learn more, he boarded his ship and set a course for Dreshdae.
But the Sith Academy was empty of people, and filled with a nameless horror. Nile fled from the red planet in fear. Once on his ship he saw the cool blue planet of Manaan on his ship's travel screen, and it called soothingly to him. That is where he went. There he met a Sith named Javin Dewon and a Grey Master named Graywulf. He learnt to control the force by interacting with them and experiencing their powers first hand. This was also the first time he saw a lightsabre in action first hand, and it left him with a deep yearning to aquire his own...
Appearance
Short roughed up dark brown hair, dark blue eyes, chiselled features, tall, lean and strong. Wearing a leather jerkin (brown) and tight black sturdy pants, with his long vibrosword hanging from his belt on one side and his black blaster hanging from the other. He always wore his necklace made of Wraid teeth for good luck. He walked in a confident and relaxed manner, with the grace of a natural born hunter. He bore many scars from hunting and fighting.
Personality & Traits
Nile was a good natured young man who valued his own interests above all. He had no qualms in killing people really if the occassion called for it, given that he had more respect for Desert Wraids than for some humanoids. However he would help others if the situation called for it.
Force sensitive
Nile Chaar was highly force sensitive though he did not know that. He knew little about Jedi or Sith. He just thought he was very lucky, which he attributed in part to the Wraid necklace he always wore. But of course, "there is no luck, there is only the Force"...
After an encounter with a group of strong Force Adepts his conciousness of the Force was awakened. He would undertake a journey to Korriban to learn how to wield it.
His journey to Korriban was not as expected. Instead he began to learn to control the force by interacting with other force users he met on his adventures, and learning from his experiences. Essentially he became a self taught force user with a lot of potential and an astonishing speed and capacity for learning.
His ship
An S-100 Stinger-class starfighter which he found in terrible condition on his first pirate raid. He repaired it with the credits earned on that venture and learnt to fly on that ship. It was fitted with a low power shield generator, class 2 hyperdrive, two proton torpedo launchers, and customised with a cloaking device. It was highly manouverable though not very sturdy, and could just about carry one small passenger.
