Quotes/Mottos
"Fear is a power that can't be bought, but earned." Omg'dra in a private conversation with his major domo.
Appearance
Omg'dra is a hutt among hutts. He has a few splotches of dirty green across his sickly yellow body but other than that he looks much the same as any other of his species. Omg'dra tries to keep in good form and at least excersize one hour a day to maintain a state of discipline as well.
Seeds of an Empire
Born to the Ikavisue Clan Omg'dra spend his first century as many other hutts do, being little more than small sluggs who's walk in life was to be nurtured and fed by their parent. Soon as he was under his own power and became intelligent and responsible in hutt culture Omg'dra endeavored to learn all that he could about managing a vast commercial are along with the tools of the trade that would be necesary to run such an empire. In his first years working for the Ikavisue clan under his uncle Wanra Omg'dra managed much of the clans weapon production facilities spread throughout the galaxy. Working to instill loyalty throughout the clans holding Omg'dra strived to show that he could be benevolent to those who served him well and that he would only use decisive punishment to those who failed him on thier own intiative.
His early operations included gun smuggling, racketeering, and extortion of government and military officials to maintain a steady stream of good and well made weaponry into the hands of the hutt's dealers. From there he purchased a spaceship lot on Corellia where he began setting up operations to help recruit some of the toughest, young men and women from Corellia's lower class areas into his operation. The operation had mixed success but eventually the Corellian Government caught onto the hutt's operation and CorSec moved quickly to shut him down but Omg'dra escaped formal charges and began overseeing more operations of the Ikavisue clan back on Nar Shadda. At the Smugglers Moon Omg'dra became a bit more cold and less compassionate toward many of his lower operatives whenever they fail his assignments.
Eventually when he started organizing elements of larger gun smuggling organization he purchased a small orbital station that became the center of his operation on Nar Shadda and eventually met a young devaronian named Ajrick Dalmarhk. The young devish was a slave workign as an enforcer in the hutt's organization but during his visits to the hutt's orbital the hutt found somehting peculiar about the young slave and eventually set him up on his guard detail while making sure to not open himself to attack or assassination. Eventually after learning the turn of fates that had brought the devaronian to his current fate Omg'dra decided that Ajrick would make an effective collections officer. After many moths of doing tasks directly for the hutt the two became uneasy associates and Omg'dra offered the slave a deal. He could be a free man but he would have to work for the hutt till Omg'dra considered his debt paid in full.
Betrayel by a Friend
The devaronian jumped at the offer adding additional jobs such as piloting smuggling vessesls and overseeing some of the hutts smaller operations on the Smuggler's Moon. But it was all a cover to keep Omg'dra in the dark. With his new responsibilities Ajrick had access to the resources to stage his ascent to being truly free and when a rival gangster group arrived at Omg'dra's orbital under a flag of truce Ajrick made his move and stole the vessel and claimed that he was doing it on the order of the hutts. The Three Kings Gang leaders escaped the station and began an all out turf war with the hutt's holdings on Nar Shadda and on Abridon. Omg'dra immediately set a 100,000 credit bounty on his former friend's head with the condition that Ajrick be brough back to answer for his crimes and to experience the full power of some of the hutt's favorite torture devices.
About a month later however the war was over and the Three Kings Gang and Omg'dra came to terms that to the hutt's dismay were rather favorable for the TKG. Due to his improvised actions Ajrick was eventually contacted by the TKG and they alerted him that they had paid his bounty as payment for helping them open the door to the war and so the devaronian was free finally though Omg'dra kept a grudge over the situation for as long as he lived. He moved into more corporate elements for his continued empire growing however and found new resources that made him forget all about the trouble incured by his thought ot be friend.
Corporate Gain
Taking a lesson from his fellow hutt lords Omg'dra decided that a criminal empire could only be maintained with good funding. To create such funding he began investing in medical research companies throughout the galaxy and used his considerable muscle to put their competitors out of businesss. With the credits flowing in Omd'gra went from investing in the corporations to actually starting his own. He fouded legitimate corporations such as the J'mistol Bio-Medical Corporation and others though J'mistol is his crowning achievement and currently makes over 50 percent of his profits in his corporate empire. At around 10 ATC however Omg'dra's eyes returned back to the conflict between the Sith and the Republic. As new battles threaten to send the galaxy into war the hutt was always on the lookout to help strengthen his empire by employing smart tactics in this newest area.
One area in particular that has garnered some of Omg'dra's attention has been the somewhat popular business venture of the Yana Tuukra station currently owned by Bocha the Hutt. Having little relation to the hutt Omg'dra considered the possibility of a hostile take over of the profitable station and what new resources it could bring his empire.
Personality
Omg'dra is ambitious and always willing to go through the most dispicable steps to insure victory against his competitors. But to those who work for him he shows that he is compassionate toward the lesser beings who serve him well. On the other side of the credit however he is more than ready to bring quick punishment and death to those who fail in the tasks he has assigned to them.
Goals and Ambitions
Omg'ra was only 309 years of age during the height of events after the Sacking of Coruscant but he had already worked his way into the inner workings of the vast criminal underworld of the galaxy. He controls the J'mistol Corporation with an iron fist and uses the corporation as a cover for many of his less legitimate bussiness. His operations are found from Nar Shadda all the way to Corellia and his operations include any crime from as low as pick pocketing to as high as planetary extortion. His goals have always been the profit of his clan and his business and while he is far from next in line to take command of the Ikavisue Clan he does have schemes in the works should the oppurtunity arise for him to gain prominence in the upper echelons of the clan's hierarchy.
Relationships
Among other Hutts Omg'dra is looked down upon with some scorn as a child breaking the traditions. He's already stepped on the tail of more notable hutts of the time and is well on making a large enough list of enemies to rival many crime lords put together. Personal grudges however are a different matter. One devaronian in particular named Ajrick Dalmarhk was a former slave of Omg'dra's who betrayed the hutt during a turf war on Nar Shadda. Although the incident was handled to Omg'dra's finacial gain he did not let go of grudges easily and always remembered the betrayel.
At one point in his life Omg'dra earned connections with an assassins cult known as the Baer' Juron. The elite cadre of killers never gave the hutt their full trust and so routinely he would only work with one of them, a mysterious one armed duros who worked well in any given situation but prefered the use of high grade explosives if he could complete the job in such a fashion.
One of the few people Omg'dra does trust is his major domo Uthauv Malthis. The red skinned Zeltron has proven a reliable employer ever since he began working with the hutt when he was around 314. During his reign as Omg'dra's second in command Uthauv foiled two assassination attempts and oversaw the production of Omg'dra's yacht the Smuggler Prince.
