The Reckless Endeavor
(For lack of TOR era ships, here's a Minstrel-class space yacht image)
Production Information
Manufacturer: To be determined
Model: To be determined
Class: Some sort of space yacht
Current Status: Active

The Reckless Endeavor is a medium space yacht that serves as Marcus Rin's residence, transport, and 'storefront'. Though likely financed through... questionable means, the license and registration all appear to be above board.

The downside of the vessel is that it doesn't come heavily armed or highly shielded. It possesses only one turret, and the armor is that of an average ship of its make and model (read: light). It's the type of ship usually seen in a convoy rather than running blockades. And whether or not the captain is engaged in legally-questionable activities, the Endeavor generally isn't seen fleeing from authorities. In fact, it's owner is more likely to be seen bribing port officials with expensive bottles of brandy than running from them.

Though the Endeavor is a space yacht, passenger rooms are only modestly furnished. Marcus does not spend a lot of time entertaining guests, nor is he particularly skilled at interior design. The only real "perk" of the ship is a high-end food-prep droid in the galley, which is capable of preparing cuisine from a variety of worlds. People are free to bring their own supplies on board, but Marcus isn't providing much (and doesn't really like it when people steal his food).

The cargo hold is given more attention than most of the rooms are, and it's rarely empty. Sensors keep meticulous track of the status of the cargo, and the information is fed into the main computer for easy access. Marcus runs a tight ship as far as cargo is concerned, and no trip is "too casual" for cargo to be transferred. A full hold is worth the cost of transport, and cargo sanctity is one of the few things the Lorrdian is willing to shoot people over. To further demonstrate its owner's priorities, some of the space used for guest areas have been reallocated for cargo. Beyond that, however, no major modifications have taken place.

A small nameless maintenance droid is often seen wheeling about the ship. Thanks to the mostly-standard nature of the vessel, the droid can be programmed to focus on repair and maintenance protocols with no loss of quality compared to a sentient mechanic. It also removes the need to hire someone who may or may not snoop around the cargo.

All in all, aside from a clever play on names (Reckless -> wreck-less), the Endeavor complements its owner by being mostly austere, practical, and businesslike. The ship would be out of place in a space pirate's den, but it blends in well in business (and "business") circles.
