Ulanti

Savera Ulanti was a Sith warrior who lived during the time of the Great Galactic War. She was born on Korribon to Tagos Ulanti, a Sith warrior. His marriage resulted in his death, when Savera was only a year old. Without her parents, Savera would have perished had not Kamir happened upon her. He, recognizing her future implications, placed her in a stasis container, which he kept hidden for the next ten years. She remained in this stasis container, until Kamir was ready to train her, in the year 3668 BBY. Kamir Ulanti, not wishing this apprentice known, hid her on a secret base on Geonosis. There he trained her from birth to a young woman. Savera, when the sith assassin Cire arrived, attempted to betray her master, but the two were defeated. However, she and Cire escaped aboard a mercenary vessel with two of Cire's newfound friends, though Savera did not escape without significant injuries from the Sith Lord. She and Cire did not meet or part on the best of terms and remained solid rivals. During the trip, she recovered and eventually arrived on Nar Shaddaa. She was left on Nar Shaddaa as was her request, but was left with no weapons to protect herself. Savera was not too preturbed by this and was last seen moving into the darkness of Nar Shaddaa's alleyways, looking for someone to kill. If she had any other intentions on Nar Shaddaa they are unknown. It was at this time that Cirenidd, the sith assassin, whispered a threat through the Force, promising that on their next meeting, Savera would die.

Birth

Break your weakness, Tagos! I have felt your love for this woman. Destroy her! Do not allow your compassion for this woman to break your strength and power! -- Kamir Ulanti to Tagos Ulanti, Savera's father

Savera was born in 3678 BBY (25 BTC) to Tagos Ulanti and his wife, an unnamed woman from the Dreshdae colony. This marriage would result in Tagos' death at the hands of his brother Kamir Ulanti. Kamir Ulanti discovered Savera when she was but an infant, and realized her true identity. Not wishing to train an apprentice, but recognizing the advantages she posed, he placed her in stasis, where she remained for the next fourteen years. In 3668 BBY (15 BTC), Kamir had Savera removed from stasis and began training her at a secret base built into a Geonosian Spire.

Early Life and Training

Geonosian Base where Savera spent most of her early life
Geonosian Base where Savera spent most of her early life
Savera grew up under the harsh tutelage of Kamir into a powerful Sith warrior. He occasionally sent her on missions to destroy various targets both within the Empire, and later outside of it. Savera was still oblivious to much of the Sith Emipre, however when she was 17, she realized that her master was keeping many secrets from her. She grew to hate him for what she considered his "refusal to allow her to grow into her true power." She began seeking out her master's secrets, and attempted to keep his focus distracted. Despite her efforts, her master recognized her search, but allowed it to continue. Her search eventually led her to the discovery of the Sith assassin along with the information that she had been purged of her memories. Savera managed to convince her master to set a bounty on someone else, but secretly changed it to Cire. The bounty hunter's agreed to her proposal and set off.

Betrayal

My master put the bounty on you, and he will again if you somehow manage to escape here, but... I have a solution for you. You help me kill my master, and then you can go.

Savera was surprised to find the bounty hunter's were successful, and realizing the danger of her master discovering her treachery, had the assassin hidden in a training chamber. There she confronted Cire. During the course of the meeting, Cire was confused, and Savera believing her weak, attacked her. Cire, however, was more dangerous than Savera realized and proved herself in combat. Savera, relenting, attempted to persuade Cire to join with her to kill Kamir, who she slyly told Cire that she needed to kill to be free of him. Cire finally relented, however, upon meeting the Sith Master, changed her mind and left with Kamir. Savera, afraid of her master, hid herself for a time. During her roaming through the Spire, she overheard Kamir Ulanti order Cire's coming friends to be executed. Not realizing that the master had wished her to hear this, she hurried to Cire and warned her. Cire, not trusting Savera ignored her, before abruptly changing her mind. Together, the two hurried to the hangar to fight the Sith Master.

Flight

We end this here, you monster!

In the hangar, Kamir Ulanti warned the two that it was futile to fight him. The battle between the three was swift, and brutal. Savera was defeated when the master turned the Dark Art of Death Field upon her. Cire was incapacitated by a blast of lightning. However, the two were saved by the convenient arrival of Kruz and Akecheta, Cire's friends. They instigated a duel with the Sith Master, which climactically ended with a rocket being thrown into the robed master. However, they were unable to finish him due to the arrival of Sith soldiers. This resulted in a large battle in the hangar, which eventually ended with Kruz, Savera, and Cire escaping aboard Kruz's ship, and Akecheta joining up with the last of the bounty hunters. Sometime during the battle, the Sith master entered Kruz's ship and was alone with Savera for a time. It is uncertain exactly what transpired during that period of minutes. After their escape, Savera hid herself so that the others would not know of her. By the time they found her, she was mostly recovered from the Death Field. Unfortunately for Savera, she was disarmed by the skilled Cire. This would have been Savera's end had Cire not relented unexpectedly and left. She spent the remainder of the journey in a cabin.

Nar Shaddaa

Little is known about Savera's time spent during Nar Shaddaa. What is known is that she acquired a blaster pistol there, and it seems probable that the previous owner is now dead. She also managed to "persuade" a smuggler to take her to Rovek. There, she believed she could successfully hide from her master's searching gaze.

Personality

Come join us. We have roasted rancor, along with some very appetizing rocks, with a dash of sand to turn in into an absolute gourmet.

Savera was an energetic and emotional young woman. She frequently acted out of impulse rather than from considered action. Her main motivation was what made her happy or what gave her pleasure. This made her rather eccentric and unpredictable, sometimes lashing out in unreasoned anger, and at other times, hiding herself out of some remembered fear. Savera was not exceptionally bright or cunning. She was independent, however and enjoyed throwing herself into action. Violence was something that Savera was accustomed to even to the point of enjoying the terrible screams of the dying or the massive explosions of battle. She was a very confident woman to the point of being foolish. She was quite willing to risk other people's lives in battle demonstrating a typical Sith ruthlessness and callousness. As she was taught she hated mercy, compassion and weakness, however, being away from her master, she decided that these teachings could be false, and after experiencing the compassion and kindness of a Jedi she met, decided that they weren't so bad when other people were using them. She is still conflicted however, when it comes to herself doing any such action. Savera likes Jedi above Sith, thinking logically, that Sith will try and betray you while Jedi will generally, when absent the lectures, be friendly and helpful. Despite being a Dark Jedi herself, Savera generally distrusts or despises other users of the dark power.

Quotes

You seem to be under the impression that I want you alive! ~ Savera to the Sith Assassin Cire

You don't remember? Oh dear, dear, poor little thing, are you lost?

Then you are sentencing your friends to death. My master would be proud.

Well, the planet doesn't appear to have much to offer, but it does have plenty of action, especially out there in the wastes. It also serves as a place where you don't have Sith ordering you around with their "I'm so powerful and mighty" attitude. It does get tiring, after a while... Savera to a smuggler on Rovek

Skills and Abilities

With that great strategy he'll carve us apart... We need to work together if we plan on success. He's waiting for us so we'll have to go to him.

Savera was a skilled Sith warrior and could be savage when faced in combat. She carried a double bladed lightsaber and was versed in it's usage along with the saber styles of Dun Möch and Sokan. She could perform significant leaps, and had strong abilities in the art of telekenesis. She also was strong in her senses, able to determine emotions from those around her, even to the point of recognizing a Sith Lord's awareness of her plans from across a Geonosian Spire. She had the ability to diminish her presence within the Force, so as to hide her presence, and this helped conceal her for a time aboard Kruz's vessel.
