Behind the Scenes:

Scoundrel's are featured as a playable hero class in several forms of Star Wars media such as Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. The class is usually characterized as having a high amount of Skill Points but low Vitality Points or Feats. It is considered to be an "Elite Class" by some.

In SW:KotOR, Scoundrel was one of the three starter classes that Revan could choose to play as after his memory was re-programmed by the Jedi Order.

Scoundrel's are also one of the confirmed Advanced Classes of Star Wars: The Old Republic for the Smuggler starting class.
