Early Life (37 BTC to 27 BTC)

Toorop grew up on Tantooine, he lived with his parents and his brother Mako, in a small house, because his parents made little money. Toorop and his brother were forced to work all day and to buy a little bit of food. One night, when Toorop and his brother were sleeping, men came into his house and murdered both of his parents. These men took Toorop and his brother to a slave camp far from any town or city and forced them to into slavery and tortured them daily.

His Years while a Slave

Years of slavery past, hard long work hours, forced to do things no one would ever want to do, Toorop had little emotion, death was a part of him now. He had just turned 10, still working for the same slavers. They made Toorop clean droids all day. That was his job, to clean droids, he was an expert at taking them apart, putting them together, and making them work, but most importantly, cleaning them. He would be beat constantly for hours and hours with the butt-end of a sand raiders rifle for making the slightest mistake.

During his slavery, a old man taught him the force each day, teaching him the very crude basics and the history of it. Toorop never was very interested, but what else was there to do?

Free, free at last

While out in the desert on a scorching hot day, the slave camp was stationed an hour or two outside of the city, Toorop and Mako were in the city, selling scrap parts to junk dealers for credits, to fund the slave trade. As Toorop and his brother were on their way back to the slave camp, Mako noticed a ship, flying directly towards the slave camp. Toorop thought nothing of this, as ships went by Regulary. But, all of the sudden, blaster fire erupted towards the ship from the slave camp and in a sudden flash the slave camp was obliterated into scrap metal. Mako said casually to Toorop, who stood in disbelief."Guess we are free eh?". Mako started walking towards the city casually.

As Toorop and his brother were walking towards the city, as the same ship that killed the slavers flew overhead and stopped in front of them. Toorop and Mako tried to run, but these men where to fast, they had to be some sort of smuggling group, armed heavily. They seemed hostile, but Toorop had a feeling that they weren't. So Toorop stopped running, turned around, and watched as the man ran towards him. Toorop demanded a name, the man wouldn't tell him. Yet the man did respond and say he never liked slavery and found it entertaining to disrupt slaver operations from time to time. After the brief conversation and getting the two boys on board he took Toorop and Mako to the City.

Life as a Freeman on Tatoonie

After about a month in the city, Toorop was getting bored, he had a job at the local droid shop, but wanted to do something new. He was repairing some sort of mouse droid when these men, who looked like experienced smugglers, where talking about Yavin 4, and the jungles there. Toorop had saved up money, and so did his brother. A feeling inside of Toorop, told him to go there. His brother often told him he wanted to travel to a different planet, and had the same feeling Toorop had. Toorop dropped his droid, asked these smugglers about traveling there, and they replied with a price of 2,000 Credits.

The Trip to Yavin 4

After long persuasion and 2 months worth of hard work, Toorop finally saved enough for him and his brother to make the trip to Yavin. They got on the ship, which didn't look all that safe to travel in, but the smugglers reassured them it was alright. So, they finally took off, and during this time, Toorop received contact from the man that saved him from the slavers, explaining that he was disappointed in the boys for leaving, and the his parents would have never allowed it, Toorop told this man that there was something calling him to Yavin, but he could not pinpoint what it was. The man seemed to understand what he meant, and told Toorop that if he ever needed anything, just to contact him.

Time passed while on board the smuggler vessel, these smugglers never mentioned to the boys that they had numerous stops to make, and packages to deliver. 5 days out of Yavin, a Sith patrol stopped them.They demanded to search the contents of the vessel before allowing them to bypass their patrol of the sector. The smugglers quickly fired at the Sith,as a Ship to Ship combat began. Explosions rattled the exterior of the vessel, and eventually crippled the ships engine. As the Sith's vessel connected to the Smuggler's docking door, Toorop and Mako entered an escape pod and ejected out into space, floating aimlessly in its void. They remained undetected as Toorop was clever with mechanical devices, he masked the escape pods signature.

Crash Landing into the Yavin 4 Jungles

When the boys reached the planet moon of Yavin 4, the gravitational pull started yanking the small pod into a spiraling ball of flames towards the planet,at this it woke both boys up with a jolt as the pod broke through the atmosphere. Having already been fastened down by the straps of the tight fitting escape pod, they saw on a small visual screen that the heat shields were working as intended (thankfully for them). The pod crash landed in the middle the massive jungle which spread through most, if not all, of the planet.

Toorop woke his unconscious brother from the crash and told him that they needed to keep moving or else they would die, something in Toorop's head told him to head west. He picked us dazed brother up, and carried him over his shoulders. During this time, food was scarce and water was not clean, so Toorop was growing increasingly weak. Creatures stalked him, waiting for Toorop to perish so they could take their prey. Toorop continued to move at a slow pace, with his brother just now starting to walk on his own again. Toorop felt death approaching, he fell to his knees, and his brother did the same, just as Toorop was about to loose conscious, a robed Jedi approached him, and put him on the back of his speeder. Just as the young boy thought he was going to make it out of here without no tremendous trouble, his brother died, right before his eyes, Toorop's eyes closed and his last image before passing out was a gigantic base.

Training

At the age of 10, Toorop began his training under Spenta Myrunji. Toorop trained for 12 years and mastered forms V, and II. Toorop also became proffecient in III and dwelled into form VI. The young jedi also favoured a curved hilt, this worked well with his favourite style, Makashi. His master noted during his training that Toorop was tremendous at lightsaber combat.

Knighting

After 12 long years of training under Master Spenta Myrunji, Toorop passed his trials and was knighted. He took on Sacre'ven as his padawan learner in 2 ATC and with Toorop's consent, she passed her trials in 3 ATC.
