Aiden Kaar the Beginning

Aiden Kaar's age is baffling to everyone who meets him, yet he looks to be in his mid 20's. how can this be as most Arkanias do not live much longer than a human? In the year, 3,964 BBY Aiden Kaar was born on Arkania, a frozen uninhabitable wasteland known for its harsh climate, and Diamond deposits hidden beneath in the vast caverns of the waste below the surface. Aiden Kaar was born to parents of the trade. They were miners, excavators, and archaeoligists of sorts, and were generally employed by the Exchange. In the year 3,954, 10 years after his birth, and 2 years after the disappearance of Revan and ending of the Jedi Civil War, Aiden Kaar and his family were homebound back from an excavation on Cathar, where a small deposit of a rare crystal formation known as Nextor was discovered earlier in the year. Nextor Crystals were favored by master Arca Jeth, the master of the Jedi Academy on Arkania. With the Jedi Civil War at an end but the Dark wars entering its second year, the Kaar's knew they could sell the Nextor for a big profit. That was until that fateful day of Aiden Kaar's disappearance, and his families death.

Just outside the atmosphere of Arkania upon the descent to it's surface, the Retribution's hull was penetrated by an irregular glacial comet. As the ship fell through the atmosphere the blue rock ripped through the Retribution's hull, leaving a hole only the size of a human head, however it hit a critical structure and the ship was quickly folding within itself. As if this was not enough, the glacial comet cracked open spraying a fridgid liquid substance throughout the hull, freezing anything it touched, except for Aiden and his father. The cold skin of the Arkanians kept the fridgid liquid in its form, however this is a rare liquid form of Tiridium that if heated to anything above freezing it will solidify. An opposite effect of ice. The Arkanian skin was enough to keep the Tiridium in liquid form, however when the Tiridium sprayed onto the Nextor shards, it caused a reaction only seconds later exploding the Nextor crystals through Aiden's skin, and throughout the rest of the hull. The reaction would have killed most people, however the shards entered his skin, and the inside body temperature of Arkanians is much warmer than the outside, as it is built to endure the fridgid wastss of Arkania. The shards that were solidified, soon became liquified after entering his skin taking with it the Nextor as it was absorbed by the Tiridium liquid. Aidens body lay punctured with shards as the ship plummeted to the tundra below.

Upon the wreckage of the Retribution, Aiden's father crippled severly from the crash, crawls to the shard infested body of Aiden. He gazes upon his son who lies unconcious to grasp him for the last time. Suddenly the ship shifts, it had landed in as crevice between two monstrous ice slabs. The hole had enlarged in the plummet to the surface as the ship imploded around the damage, thus ripping the ship from one side to the other. As the ship shifts it sent Aiden and his near dead father skittering down the tipped over remnants of the Retribution. Aiden's father with one hand clings for life desperately trying to hold Aiden, with other hand. his body is weak, and crippled, the Arkanian miner can hold no longer as the rest of the comet peices fall past the Arkanians, he loses his grip they fall, plummeting to their deaths. Aiden's Father smashing on the slabs further down can only lay helplessly dying, as he watches his son, fall to the waters below, missing the slabs of frozen waste. The Retribution finally giving way and crashing through ice, coem to its final resting place lodged over a stalagmite of frozen earth.

The New Era 3,631 BBY

"Yes, Master Rai, I know the Area well, and I am ready for the trials", the young Bothan padawan N'Dor E'Tal said to his Master. "You maybe ready, if you can bring back a Sigil crystal amongst the diamonds in the caverns, then you may be ready", said Lokan Rai, Jedi Master. The young padawan of 19 years anxiously headed to the cavern depths. "Master, which way do i go, there are so many tunnels?" said N'Dor E'Tal. "You must let the Force guide your feet, seek it out, and it shall take you to your destination, said his Master. The sigil stones were focus crystals, laced with force properties, and used in Lightsaber creation, by both master and padawan. Its look is sublte when mixxed with diamonds, but its faint glow and presence will eventually give it away. Two Hours have passed, and N'Dor had worked his way through the caverns, facing no threat, and no foe, but he Was not Prepared for what he was about to find. His master was right if he used the Force to guilde him, he would find his destination, today his destination was and encased wreckage that must have happened long ago. Master Rai ,felt the disturbance within his padawan, and quickly dispatched himself to the caverns below. Within minutes, he was reunited with his padawan learner. Both master and apprentice stood in astonishment at the frozen covered ship. "We must see if the ship has any markings so that we may research its demise", said Master Rai. Upon searching they were able to clear enough frozen debris and ice away to reveal the word Retribution. "Master"? Yes, N'Dor? This place is flowing with light side energies, I feel the Force is strong here", said the apprentice. "Yes, I feel it too, it is raw, unrefined energy, but it is here none the less, and that my boy, furthers our research. Lets have a look around and see what we can find". After searching the cavern for some time, the end up further below the wreckage of the Retribution, at a pool of blue glowing water. "Master, this must be the energy we sense"! "Indeed, there is something in this water." "LOOK! There!", said N'Dor excitedly. "There is a lifeform in there, and they are alive, it must be the source of this Force energy," the apprentice eagerly says. "This water is fridgid, and could cause severe burns to either of our skins, said the Master to his apprentice." Let us work together to pull it out using the Force. I will pull you steady the lifeform, said Lokan. After a few moments thier success rewarded them with a lifeform encased in a semi metallic frozen statue. There is still life in this being, Master Rai mentioned. Let us get a the Order excavators to take this to the Academy here and we will see if we can help. The Tiridium that had liquified Aiden Kaar, must have slowed his heart rate, and protected him from the near freezing water. Upon examination, they discover that the Retribution had crashed down on Arkania, but the wreckage was never found, and no survivors ever surfaced. The examination on Aiden was even more fascinating. The skin of the Arkanian youth was slightly blued, compared to the pale white, or sub flesh colored skin of Arkanians, and the offshoots. Pieces of broken Nextor Shards were found within the frozen casing. The examination also led to the discovery that liquid tiridium had entered his body, mixing with the nextro and giving him a bluish tint to Aiden's skin. the blue is faint but it is there none the less. The metal encasing around his body, was formed by the liquid tiridiumthat fell into the water from the fragmented pieces of the glacial comet, said the Medical Droid. So what you mean, is that he was cryogenically frozen, artifically for over 300 years, said Master Rai. Yes Master Jedi that is correct, this boys name is Aiden Kaar, a native of Arkania, said the Medical Droid. Slowly waking from his slumber, Aiden opens his eyes to a blurry but startling sight. Everything he sees has a blue tint to it.He has regained conciousness, said the Droid. Why are his eyes glowing blue, I thought Arkanians had White eyes pure as the snows of Arkania, said the padawan. The shards entered his eyes, and liquified, being absorbed into them. "Where is father, Aiden slowly muttered? Easy my young friend, Master Rai softly said. You have had a terrible accident, and your father, and crew are no longer alive, they died over 300 years ago, Master Rai told Aiden. You have been blessed, but cursed all at once, but I will help you anyway I can, tell me how old are you young one? I am 10 said Aiden. Incorrect Master Kaar, you are 15 years of age, the liquid Tiridium, slowed your heart rate, and must have slowed your aging process aswell, said the medical droid. I feel older, wiser, a sense of energy flowing through me,said Aiden. That my son, is the Force, it flows through you now, though i sispect it may have always, even if just faintly. None the less it is quite strong within you now, said Master Rai. Come rest and I shall educate you later, and if you so choose, and the council wills it, says the Master.

Jedi Life

N'Dor, had passed his trials that day, and the council had granted him to knighthood. As for Aiden, he was a marvel to gaze upon and the council ordered strict watch of his behavior by Master Rai, the slightest signs of the Dark Side flowing in him, and he would be banished from the teaching so the Jedi. Days, Months, years had passed, as it was now 3,627 BBY and though it had been years for Master Rai, it seemed like only days for Aiden Kaar. The time has coem for your trials, Aiden, you are ready, said Master Rai to his apprentice. I feel instead of sending you after a Sigil stone, I want you to go back to the sight where we found you, seek out anything there that, calls to you. I am sure you will know what that is when you get there. Yes Master, said Aiden. Aiden's descent to his former resting place, served purposeful as he was drawn to two pieces of Nextor that were lodged into the ice near where the ship finally rested. these were no normal Nextor crystals, these were Tiridium enhanced, giving the Nextor an unatural Dark but vivid blue aura. The comet, the nextor, the Tiridium, and Aiden were one now, for whatever reason, the Force called out to him that terrible day, and now that raw force energy, has been hernessed, refined, and developed.
