Time as a Youngling
Xiahou was born on the planet Shili, to a family of great hunters known for their ferocity and skill. During a visit to the planet from a group of Jedi, Xiahou returned to his village after killing an Akul single handedly at the young age of 9. The Jedi could feel the Force with the child ever so faintly but chose to take the boy to the council for testing none the less, hoping his natural abilities would shine through. Which they did.
At the start of his training the Jedi Trainers all noticed that Xiahou was very quick to anger at the smallest incedent, a trait not common with his species. Many years passed and slowly Xiahou learned to put his anger to the back of his mind.
As a youngling, Xiahou became infatuated with lightsaber combat, and studied many holocrons in the Jedi Archives instead of practicing his Force powers. . The knowledge he gained from the Archives served him well in the future, but because his lack of Force training he ended up far behind the other younglings. Under the careful guidance of the Jedi Trainers, and with the help from other Younglings, however, Xiahou managed to live up to the standard that was required by the end of his time as a youngling.
Becoming a Padawan
Despite the fact that Xiahou had grown strong as a youngling, by the time he had reached the age of thirteen, it seemed that his chance of becoming a Padawan had all passed him by.
One day, rumours flooded the Jedi Temple of a band of Jedi Knights returning from battling the Sith on the front lines. Together with what few Younglings remained, Xiahou rushed to the dueling area and tried to draw the eyes of the Knights with an all out duel. Xiahou fought fiercely from the very start and managed to hold his ground until only he and two other remained. His final offence was so ferocious that a Knight interupted. Deciding that Xiahou would make a valuable front line Jedi the Knight took him as his Padawan Learner.

Personality
Constantly struggling with his anger, Xiahou looks to his Master for guidance and friendship during these dark times. Xiahou is never discouraged when his peers choose to leave him out due to his inner demons. During combat Xiahou is overconfident and very lucky, always holding on by the skin of his teeth. While training with his Master, Xiahou is sarcastic and defiant but never pushing his luck to much.
Powers and abilities
Concentrating most of his training to improving his skill with a lightsaber. Intertwining the forms of Juyo, Tràkata and Dun Möch, he managed to create a fighting style that overwhelmes, confuses and demoralizes an opponent. In addition he is also capable of hurling powerful spheres of concentrated Force energy at his opponents. Also, he frequently utilizes Force Speed during combat to great effect aswell as Force Push and Choke.
